Our advice? Just make sure you stay long enough because no one wants to leave once they get here! The owner of the Whales Watch property, known as RME, came to Tom Nevers as a young man with a vision some years ago when it was still just sand dunes and sunshine! He bought the land, built the houses, and brought his young children here every summer throughout their childhood to experience Nantucket and spend time together making lifelong memories. They all still gather here regularly - now also bringing RME's grandchildren! We suggest you take a walk to the beach using the private walkway built by RME and his eldest son and named after RME's late father, Walter. Halfway down the stairway, try stopping and taking a deep breath while you sit on Walter's Bench taking it all in - like a true ''Tucky''!
