It was absolutely perfect for us, we were travelling with my parents and our two children (8 and almost 3). We all had plenty of room, the kids really liked having their own tv's, which allowed everyone to have a little "quiet alone time" when it was needed. The pool and hot tub were great, we definately made good use of them (several times a day), it was awesome to be able to come back and relax in the hot tub after a long day. It was really close to all the major attractions and there were many great restaurants nearby. We are definately interested in coming back (hopefully sooner rather than later), and I have highly recommended our experience to all those who ask. He even had strollers which we used for taking our kids to the theme parks. Everything we needed to cook a meal or have a barbeue was right there. Just a few seconds down the road to the supermarket and we saved a lot of money from having to eat out every meal. The clubhouse was great, we even took in a movie and swam in the huge pool. The location was perfect, less than 5 miles to Disney World. I liked the gated community too. It was quiet and relaxing. I have already recommended this home to friends and co-workers. After staying in hotels on and off the Disney World complex, I know now that this is the only way to go. We will certainly rent again from John. They simply loved the TVs in the bedrooms, the pool in the back, and the huge pool at the clubhouse. The movie theatre in the clubhouse was top notch as well. The house was right in the middle of everything. We were 15 minutes away from all of the shopping, Disney, Universal, Sea World, and the airport. The house is immaculate and John's care for his guests shows through when he calls to check in on you and email you. I don't think you could ask for a more perfect solution to a Florida holiday. The layout of the property is excellent and we loved the lanai and the pool, which we made daily use of. We appreciated the courtesy calls from John, this was a nice personal touch. This was our second stay at Windsor Palms, but our first at this villa to which we hope to return to on our next visit. We would not hesitate in recommending John's villa! The first trip we stayed at a "luxury" resort. But luxury means staying in a cramped room, spending countless dollars on unhealthy restaurant food for my kids, and having to go to bed when the kids went down. With John's villa, we were able to make a good breakfast in the morning, head to the parks, take a mid-day pool break and then return to the parks. We ate at restaurants some times because we wanted to, not because we had to. Further, the location was very convenient to park hop, the pool was very refreshing, the laundry allowed us to clean up the normal kids Disney spills, and the management company and John were very responsive to any needs that we had. This Villa is the only way to go. Everything you could want or need is at your finger tips. The location couldn't be better, close to the parks, shopping, outback steakhouse and even a Dairy Queen. Never again will we do the hotel holiday in Florida after staying in John's magnificent home.The house is spacious,comfortable and gives you the ultimate'chill out' factor. My 16 year old daughter claims that John Bond is a legend!Your own private pool outside the back door is pure luxury, my 7 year old son , not a great swimmer when we arrived was like a little dolphin by the time we left..he never left the pool. The Villa is a real home from home, with everything you need. With 10 of us with ages ranging from 18 months to 83 it was very spacious and we didn't get under each others feet. I was the lucky one as I had the main master bedroom - WOW!! The site has all amenities you need, and this is a great location - very close to all the parks and international drive just a short drive away. John is also a great help - he answered my many emails prior to departure and even gave me a couple of calls whilst I was there to make sure everything was OK. Thanks again John x Rose Fuller, Essex, ENGLAND 02/17/06 Positive It was family reunion fun all around. We spent two days in the Bonds home, there were 10 of us, four adults and 6 kids. This ofcourse is two families. It accomidated us perfectly. We had a great time and everyone had plenty of space. We were able to enjoy a nice family meal on our first night with out the fuss of taking out 6 children under 8 years old. The kids ate first and then played while we as adults could relax with a nice seafood dish without the restuarant prices. Then after we all enjoyed the hot tub. It was truly nice to all be together and not have any place to return too. The best part was, it was someone else home we were quests in, a home away from home. It is so nice to both be host and quests all in one. After staying in a home, hotels would seem to expensive and small. John was wonderful from beginning to end, by checking in and fixing minor problems. Aside from the pool heat not being turned on prior to the stay, our vacation was perfect and memoriable. All the children loved Magic Kingdom with Mikey and on our last day they all swam even though the pool never heated up warm enough for us adults, the kids didn't seem to mind. It's really close to all the Disney parks, a great outlet mall off I-4, and some really tasty restaurants. I agree with the previous poster, be sure to hit the grocery store before you arrive at the house for at least necessities like drinks, extra toilet paper, and snacks. The rest can be gotten later after inventory. The house is very roomy. We came with 4 adults and 4 kids under the age of 6. We had plenty of room to roam and the kids had plenty of room to run. Had we stayed in a hotel we would've been miserable! We plan on having several Disney vacations in our future and would love to be able to stay at this house from now on! It is in a great neighborhood and the house is beautiful inside. We were able to fit the seven of us in the house comfortably with the 4 bedrooms. 3 Full baths really helped us in the mornings! We enjoyed the 10 minute drive to all of the Disney Parks as we managed to squeeze in 8 parks (5 Disney, 2 Universal, and Sea World) in 10 days. Try Giordano's for great Pizza down at the main intersection of 192. Our two kids loved the pool area and we used it every day. It felt good to cool off after the 90 plus degree days in the air conditioned house as well while watching our Red Sox win. The only negatives were that there were no cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.. so be prepared. The Dryer takes forever to dry clothes and the pool heater can trip but we really didn't need it. All in all very little to complain about. This is a fantastic place in a great location and we are looking forward to coming back in the future! Thanks John. Unfortunatley we was here for 2 hurricaines but because the house is in such a great location it didnt really affect us. John was regulary checking up during the hurricaine to see if we was alright and kept us informed of anything we needed to know. Walking into a house with airconditioning after being out in the really hot florida sun really is refreshing. The house had everything we ever needed, a pool, spa, bbq, play station 2, video player, tvs in the bedrooms I could go on forever. The home was comfortably appointed for our needs, our children loved the pool in the backyard, and we loved the privacy this backyard had versus other homes we have rented in the area. The closeness of the home to the recreation center was also great. We could walk in a minute to the store, movie theatre, playground and main pool complex. The gas BBQ also made for some great dinners in. The best surprise of all was the movie theatre. We could book movies for free and watch them in this great theatre and bring our own beverages and snacks. Our kids watched at least 5 different Disney movies over the three week holiday and my wife and I were able to see a few recent DVD releases that we missed in the theatre. We definitely hope to return.
