Judges gathered at the WeNeedaVacation.com Brewster office yesterday morning to
review and select a winner of our #WeNeedaScrapbook summer contest.

The winning scrapbook, July on Cape Cod, was written by Melissa from Maryland, who
spent time in Harwich this summer. As the winner, Melissa and her family will receive
$500 towards her next Cape or Islands vacation rental house on WeNeedaVacation.com.
When contacted, Melissa responded, “Thank you, and what a nice surprise! I have
genuine feelings about Cape Cod as my fondest childhood memories are there. And
sharing this beautiful place with my children and grandchildren is the best! My
scrapbook is yet another addition to the many Cape Cod photos I cherish."

The three judges, Noelle Pina, Executive Director of the Orleans Chamber of Commerce,
Ed DeWitt, Executive Director of the Association to Preserve Cape Cod, and Jill
Talladay, Executive Director of CARE for the Cape and Islands, discussed carefully
which of the 28 scrapbooks they felt best described a meaningful, special, Cape
Cod or Islands vacation. At the conclusion of the voting today, WeNeedaVacation.com
awarded APCC and CARE $300 each towards their efforts to preserve and protect the
beautiful landscape on Cape Cod and the Islands.
