Experience cherished family memories in Brewster!
This is our family's second time staying at this lovely residence in Brewster. Our second experience was as wonderful as our first. Brewster is perfectly situated to explore both the upper and lower portion of the Cape. I highly recommend checking out the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.
This wonderful home had plenty of room for our family. Three bedrooms in the main cottage, the upstairs bonus loft that the kids absolutely loved and the "honeymoon" suite style apartment was more than enough space for our family of eight and a few friends who came to visit. There is a lovely new deck and landscaping off the back of the "honeymoon" suite that is great for sharing morning coffee or a glass of wine, or to just sit and listen to the sounds of the Cape.
My favorite room is the glass/screened enclosed porch that was a gathering place for morning breakfast and late night card games. We also used the area as a space to color and spend time with our dad/grandfather.
The home provides two well stocked kitchen's with plates, dishes, wine glasses, utensils, coffee maker and pots and pans. There is a gas grill available to barbecue if you are so inclined. Also available to borrow are various beach chairs, pails, shovels, outdoor games, umbrella and beach towels. The home has two full bathrooms and an outdoor shower that was VERY welcome after a day at the beach.
The neighborhood is quiet and the beach is a short walk away. We enjoyed sunsets at low tide looking for sand dollars, shells, skipping over hermit crabs and walking as far as we dared at twilight. One night we were treated to an impromptu serenade from a local musician. The photographs I took were also fantastic.
I highly recommend this wonderful get away. Looking forward to staying here again!
