We have been Cape Cod vacationers for many years and are thrilled to have an Eastham home which we can share. We look forward to leaving our busy work and escaping to the Cape. Lovers of the arts, we especially value Cape drama and musical performances, arts & crafts fairs, and historical events and venues. We love that one can be as active or reposed as needed. We're available for any questions or concerns you may have. We will make contact with you on the day of your arrival to make sure you're comfortable and to answer any immediate questions. However, we will not pester you further! We truly want you to have an enjoyable vacation and lasting fond memories of your time spent here.
What is special about this property?
We fell in love with this property for its location on the bike path and its tranquil back yard. We love the Outer Cape and its mellow vibe. Whether its a vigorous walk, a stroll, or a bike ride, the Rail Trail only steps away is a great advantage for renters... and for us! When we were looking at homes in Eastham, we wanted a first floor bedroom, 1st floor w/d, and preferred more than two bathrooms and we found all in this home. The street is quiet and the neighborhood is family friendly and safe for bikers and walkers. The private road is not a through street. We feel that we lucked out when we found this home which, by the way, has never been rented before.
What is special about your town?
Eastham is such a special place in the Outer Cape for both part-time and full-time owners. We love the close proximity to both bay and ocean beaches plus the local ponds. The Salt Pond Visitor's Ctr. is close by and offers kayaking tours, beach passes, and a wealth of information. We love to hike around the Pond. There is more than one place to play a competitive game of mini-golf--a summer staple, and Eastham also is home to the famous and close-by Nauset Ice Cream. A stop at Ben & Jerry's is a sweet break from biking and is a seasonal favorite. Both locals and vacationers love the Local Break restaurant which includes televisions for watching sporting events. The cuisine is wonderful. And, of course, we're home to Arnold's--the lines may get long but the food is well worth the wait. You also can order ahead for take out. At the end of the day, get to one of several bay beaches a little early and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets--a daily ritual for many locals. Rest up, then wake up and do it again!
