Description

4 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Home w/Central AC

Private location - Close to beaches 4 Bedroom 2.5 Bath plus outdoor shower 2100 sq ft house on 1.7 wooded acres

Enjoy this peaceful, private and impeccably maintained home on a quiet cul de sac on the ocean side of Eastham. The cul de sac is perfect for kids to ride bikes or scooters, which has very little traffic.

This home is complete with a granite kitchen, quality stainless appliances, central air conditioning, a wonderful deck, and screened porch. The deck and porch are very private and a great place to hang out and enjoy the quite wooded surroundings. Enjoy your morning coffee or after dinner beverage on the screened in porch.

On the first floor you will find the kitchen, dining area, and living room, with an open floor plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher, side by side refrigerator with ice and water in the door and the stove is a glass cooktop with a full size oven. There is a keurig coffeemaker, drip coffee maker, toaster and blender. Living room has a 50'' flat screen TV with ROKU streaming - Sling (blue and orange packages), NETFLIX, HULU, Prime and HBOgo and others.

Also on the first floor is one full bath, one 1/2 bath and two of the four bedrooms. The bathroom is a standard 3 piece with a tub & shower. The bathroom also has the laundry machines - full-size front loader washer and dryer.

From the living room, you access the stairs to 2nd floor master suite which features a king size bed and a private bath with a double vanity and Jacuzzi style tub, and walk-in shower.

On the other side of the house is a second floor bonus room with a queen size bed, sitting area with queen sofa bed, loveseat and flat screened TV with ROKU.

At the back of the house is the completely private outdoor shower. The back of the house is wooded and in summer you cannot see any other houses.

Easy access to the bike trail and Coast Guard and Nauset Light Beaches.

1.5 miles to the closest intersection of the bike trail that goes from Yarmouth to Wellfleet. The house is also a short drive of less than 3 miles to the Coast Guard beach parking/shuttle area.

Beaches
Visitors are able to purchase an Eastham visitor pass for $75 for the week. Please check which beaches it is valid for – it doesn’t include all of them. Dyer Prince and Boat Meadow require passes. However, we have found that going later in the day is usually fine. Note that Dyer Prince is dog-friendly before 9am and after 4pm during the summer months. If you decide to purchase a beach sticker, the office closes by 3pm Saturday and is not open Sundays. Other beaches that we love are Skaket in Orleans (nominal parking fee but usually free after about 4pm.

Other things to check out
Cape Cod National Seashore www.nps.gov/caco/index.htm
Check out the visitor center in North Eastham. There are lots of activities including paddling the salt pond, walks on the tidal flats and presentations. Some have a charge, others are free. Some spaces need to be reserved beforehand.

Eastham public library www.easthamlibrary.org
Just off route 6 in North Eastham near the windmill. Brand new library overlooking the pond. Lots of interesting events, including speakers and kids activities (check out the lego club!). Also has good wifi!

Cape Escape Adventure Golf
14 Canal Road, Orleans
Fun 18 hole mini golf – just off the rotary. Check Groupon before you go – they often have 50% off deals.

Liquid Sunshine (rainy day ideas)
Yes, it happens! Even on vacation in this wonderful part of the world, you can have a day where the beach or the bikes just aren’t an option. Even though the house is a great place to sit and relax and watch movies or read, here’s some ideas of how to make it through the day.

Provincetown - takes about 30 minutes. Parking is available on the Quay, and there are also some municipal lots a few minutes’ walk from town. We suggest stopping into the Library – you get a great view from the top floor, and there’s a very cool surprise in the library itself!

Movies
Wellfleet has a great little move theatre, next to the drive-in.

We can't wait to be back!

My family and I stayed at this home in early August and we will likely make this the Cape vacation home we return to for the foreseeable future. We have 2 little girls (5 and 3 years old) and they just loved the home from the second we walked in. The kids' room had bunk beds which was a big hit with our girls. There was also a downstairs bedroom so I could stay close to the kids at night. The house had plenty of space for the 4 of us and even had an additional space (somewhat like an in-law space) that could be used for visiting guests as well. The master bedroom was very large with its own bathroom and extra little office or sitting space. The deck and outdoor area were tucked away among the trees with lots of privacy and quiet. The screened in porch was perfect for early morning coffee and watching tv before the kids woke up. The home was well appointed with pretty much anything and everything you could need and very, very CLEAN! There were boogie boards (which my kids LOVED), cooler for the beach and anything you could think to need for the kitchen and grill. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful (like within minutes), before, during and after our stay.

Aside from being very happy with the home itself, we were happiest with the location of the home. It is roughly 4 minutes from the National Seashore Beaches and about 10 minutes to First Encounter, which was more appropriate for us with such young kids. It was so close that we could make it to the beach in the morning before we had to pay for parking, then leave by lunch and then go to a different beach in the afternoon or even after 4pm, when parking is free again. We loved the location of the home which is pretty central to everything we typically need/want at the Cape. There is the Lobster Shanty right down the street which made for some decent takeout a couple of nights. The home is on a very quiet dead-end street which felt very private and safe.

Overall, my family and I were very happy with this home. We kept saying that it never really felt like a "rental" but almost like a second home to us. It was very comfortable in every way. We've stayed at many rentals that just feel like the owners have done the minimum to stock the home - with comfort being the last priority. We did not feel that way with this home at all. At night when we just watched tv and relaxed, it was like we were at our own house. It made a big difference in our vacation experience and, as such, we will be returning again.

Thank you very much for sharing your home with us, Stacey.

Awesome house and great location. Spacious, well-equipped, well-cared for and most importantly, very clean. Room layout is excellent. Definitely a home-way-from-home feel. All you could ask for in a vacation home. Stacey is attentive and a pleasure to work with.

The Beach house had everything we needed for a week away. Even though it was off-season there were lots of restaurants to try and things to do in the lovely Outer Cape! Can't wait to visit again during the summer

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at the Beach House. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. There was plenty of space for my husband and me to relax and for the kids to hang out and play. We really hope to be back when the weather warms up!
