I can't say enough good things about this cottage. Clean, comfortable, and cozy, the perfect size for our group of four. It was so homey that a rainy day was no problem—we were happy to read, play games, watch TV and access the WiFi in the living room. I can only imagine how miserable we would have been in a motel room! Every common need has been considered. We just had to glance around to find any little thing we wanted, from flashlights to dish soap to lobster tongs. Coffee on the deck or in the yard is a pleasure unto itself.

The beach is a couple blocks away. It's small—keep an eye on the tide charts, because for a while during full high tide it's non-existent—but perfect for relaxing for a few hours while kids dig in the sand. And both the national seashore and excellent Audubon Society trails are literally five minutes away, offering more beach options and lovely hiking and biking opportunities. Route 6 has countless dining options.

The house was private and well shaded. It is close to the beach and well equipped. We would definitely stay again.

This will be our 4th yr in this cozy cottage. It is a short walk to the beach, out the door down the path and you're there. The house is very clean and tidy. It has all of the amenities that you need, including a grill on the deck, which is surrounded by trees and flowers. You can sit and read a book, have some wine, and enjoy the peaceful setting. Town is close for shopping, miniature golf, ice cream -- no need to go far. Owner is reliable and friendly. You can enjoy beautiful sunsets, sitting on the private beach. Friendly people -- we meet the same families each year. I highly recommend spending your Cape vacation in this lovely cottage by the bay. show more show less

This cottage was pristine and comfortable. It had all of the amenities we needed to have a wonderful Cape vacation: bathroom with heated floors, outdoor shower, A/C, TV with cable, washer/dryer, and an outdoor deck with a gas grill, table and seating. The location was excellent - close to all the main roads. And best of all, it was only a block from the beach!

We spent three great summers in a row at the house. Exactly as advertised. So close to a beautiful bay beach. At high tide, you just jump in the water.
