Other amenities include a dishwasher, beach chairs/umbrella, cable TV, and Internet.

The house is also conveniently located only a 5 minute walk from Oak Bluff's quaint town center. There you can experience the authentic culture of the island by exploring different shops, restaurants, and other unique sites such as the Flying Horses, the second oldest carousel in the country. Other fun activities, all walking distance from the house, include a new playground with tennis and basketball courts, bike and moped rentals, Gingerbread Cottages, fishing, and a bowling alley.     Wonderful home!

    We spend a September weekend at Steve's lovely, eclectic home for a 40th birthday. The home was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, with water views from the farmer's porch, and within walking distance to the ferry and downtown Oak Bluffs. Steve was accommodating, flexible and very responsive. We would absolutely come back and recommend this place to others wanting to experience the island!

    Great House! Amazing Location!

    This home is ideally situated across from Waban Park which is a quick stroll to both Inkwell and Circuit Ave where you will find both food and fun. It was a surprisingly large home that easily accommodated our group which included a few couples and friends. We can't wait to come back next year and potentially in the Fall for a weekend getaway.

    What made our trip even better was that the owner was very accommodating to our group during our entire stay. Much appreciated!

    Great OB location

    We really enjoyed the location (right across from the park, down the street from Inkwell and a few blocks from Circuit). It was great for everyone. The house size allowed us to spread out and the front porch was very relaxing!

    Thank you for sharing your family home with us. We had a wonderful week. The house is great w lots of space to support 2 families. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning with our coffee. It's a perfect location being able to walk into town and beach. We hope to return next year.

    Charming house

    We were so lucky to have found this gem of a house. A ten minute walk into town, a five minute walk to the beach, and a nine minute walk from the ferry, this house is a perfect location for any vacation! It comfortably slept 8 people with a few beds to spare. There is a cozy den with a tv and board games, cute rockers on the porch overlooking a green park with partial ocean views. Steve was easy to book with, and helpful with answering all of our questions. I would strongly recommend this rental!

    The house was very nice and clean. Easily accommodated the 11 guests as advertised. The location to beach and to the town was awesome. The owners were very helpful and were very accessible. Great family vacation.

    Attractive and colorful, rustic. Semi- private sun porch off rear side entrance. Separate reading space - perfect for napping. Separate conversation/entertainment area. Downstairs in-law bedroom. Two of upstairs bedrooms form private suite. Amenities in case you forget the basics. Heater to take chill off Vineyard mornings. Great location. Front porch offers quiet view of beach goers and park activities. Compact, older house with interesting woodwork and slightly slanted floors. Can be comfortable there with family, friends or alone.     I was very lucky to summer on the Vineyard every summer for over 60 years staying at rentals all over Oak Bluffs. We we frequently stayed at my cousins house which is actually right next door to this house.
    My parents finally bought it in 1971.


    What is special about this property?
    We are nicely situated right on Waban Park with the ocean visible to the left and town just 5 minutes to the right.
    Tons of parking. The front porch is very relaxing and peaceful with stunning views.
    The house has very solid construction built around turn of the century. Plenty of room to spread out.
    5 side porches and a wonderful mahogany outdoor shower.

    What is special about your town?
    Great food, beaches, nightlife, shopping and everything is easy to get to.
