Enjoy the serenity of a special vacation in a one of a kind, spectacular, waterfront home situated directly on Buzzard's Bay. From any of the five porches you will have an unobstructed view across the water. Or walk 300 feet to your private beach.
This entire property, with carriage house and 4.57 acres is for sale.
Our home has turn of the century charm with a large kitchen, huge dining room and living room, game room and beautifully crafted sunroom. 5 bedrooms sleep 10, and there are 4 additional rooms available, (ask about additional bedrooms), 2 1/2 baths, an enclosed outdoor shower, and much more. Drive a half mile on a dirt road to our private 5 acre getaway. And your well behaved and friendly dogs are always welcome!
Stay for the warm water, windsurfing, beach walks or just lie in the hammock and let your cares drift away. Or, for a change of pace, walk the hiking trails in the 300 acre Audubon Wildlife sanctuary abutting our property, or play golf on the 18 hole par 3 course just a half a mile away. For longer excursions, Boston and Providence are only a one hour drive, we are near all of the Cape’s attractions, 45 minutes to the Martha’s Vineyard ferry or historic New Bedford, 30 minutes to Plymouth (visit Plymouth Plantation or the Mayflower), and we are just minutes from old Onset Village with its coffee shops, gift shops and restaurants.
With 3 wrap around decks on the first floor and two on the second, there is a water view from nearly the whole house. The second floor offers 5 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has full ocean views with a king size bed. There is a Queen sized bed in room 2 with a water view. Room 3 has a full sized bed with its own porch and direct ocean views. Room 4 has a full sized bed with a porch with a water view that is shared with room 5 that has 3 singles. There are 4 additional rooms on the third floor (please inquire regarding additional costs.)
