Hello, we are Melissa and Michael Silvia and Michael's twin brother Peter Silvia. Michael and Peter were born and raised in North Truro and the three of us share our North Truro home as well as a two-family home just outside of Boston Massachusetts in the off season. The three of us have worked in fast paced technology most of our adult lives and find our peace, quiet and serenity in our North Truro home. We run a seasonal donut shop in Provincetown, and consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to maintain our roots in this community. It's a great place to raise a family, an extraordinary place to vacation and simply unmatched in terms of it's beauty and ability to tease the senses! We've been renting to summer guests since 2009 and it's been a fabulous experience! We have had some truely lovely people - families, friends, couples, even some Hollywood names - stay with us and we've only had wonderful, positive, feedback. We take a great deal of pleasure knowing that our guests are building memories with their friends and families, and that we might have contributed a small part in that! We look forward to making your stay inviting and comfortable and of course, memorable! We invite you to come and get to know the Outer Cape the way we do... where the people are genuine, the food is out of this world, the sky is a bluer blue than you've ever seen, the air tastes of salt and roses and your soul is lifted with each wave crashing to shore. Come see for yourself!
What is special about this property?
Our home is conveniently located a half mile to the bay beaches and only 2 miles to the National Seashore (Head of the Meadow). It's a 10-15 minute walk to the beach town landing at Top Mast, and a 2 minute ride in the car to Head of the Meadow on the ocean side. The Provincetown shuttle picks up right at the end of our road, so you never have to worry about parking in town. Provincetown is only 10 minutes away, Wellfleet is another 10 in the opposite direction and well worth a day trip! We are walking distance to 2 incredible restaurants and we are a short drive or bike ride to the Salty Market convenience store, restaurants, Chequessett Chocolate, Truro Vineyards, the library, Puma Park playground and more! We are local to the area and consider the house our home - it's not just your average summer rental. We take great care in the cleanliness and condition of the property. If it's not good enough for our family, it's not good enough for yours! The house is impeccably clean and bright with cool, breezy colors and tasteful style throughout. We offer a lovely, large back yard, complete with patio, outdoor shower, gas grill and lots of privacy - great for kids and big kids alike!
What is special about your town?
North Truro is for dreamers... it's natural beauty is endless, and it's history rich. Take some time and travel off of the highway(Route 6). Explore the many beaches, both bay and ocean - each with its own unique landscape. Kayak the Pamet for some of the most breathtaking views. Bike or walk the miles of nature trails where the Pilgrims first found fresh water. Visit the Highland Light house and museum and be sure to shop the local organic farms for fresh produce during your stay. Truro is less 'touristy' than it's neighbors, Wellfleet and Provincetown, which makes it a great escape. All the local excitement is only minutes away, but you can retreat to peace and quiet and get away from it all when it's time to wind down.
