Charming Cottage Overlooking Wellfleet Harbor

I have thoroughly enjoyed renting Joanne’s Wellfleet cottage #4 since 2013 and consider it a little ”piece of heaven”. It is very clean and bright and the view overlooking the harbor is spectacular. Especially from the rear deck where we  loved having breakfast in the morning, sunning in the afternoon, and evening cocktails at sunset. The location allows access to town for shopping & dining as well as walking on the beach with its many great restaurants and long hikes. The new bathroom was our best surprise this year and the envy of anyone who appreciates form and functionality. Our return to Wellfleet and this cottage couldn’t come soon enough. show more show less

A friend and I stayed in this gem of a cottage for a week. The location is great: walk to harbor, seafood, ice cream, main street in Wellfleet. It's an easy drive to great bay beaches and the National Seashore. The cottage is small, but perfectly designed, with amazing light in every room. A bonus is that it's so well-stocked; when Joanne says bring only sheets, she means it--absolutely everything else was available. The deck is wonderful for morning coffee or evening star-gazing. It's hard to imagine a better location (private road, quiet, but with view of harbor) or a more comfortable set-up. show more show less
