The property offers walking access to an uncrowded section of the ocean beach approximately 4/10 mile away via a dirt road and a path through pine woods and across dunes. The world-renowned Wellfleet/Truro Seashore beach is ideal for walking, fishing,swimming, sunbathing, beachcombing, surfing.

It has a separate entrance and parking space for two cars. It has one bedroom with queen bed, bath, open kitchen/dining with pond view, huge studio living room with TV, with work desk and an extra single bed best for a child. It has a laundry room with washer/dryer, sink and basic darkroom for photographers. It has central heating. It has a wood deck, overlooking the pond, access to a private beach on the pond and access to the ocean beach by a dirt road and dune path. The Apartment is linked by a bridge/corridor to the north end of the main house for combined rental, or is separated completely by the same bridge/corridor, with two locked doors, one at each end, to provide complete privacy. Note the combination of House, 8014, sleeping 6; Apartment attached to House, sleeping 2 or 3, and Cottage, 8246, sleeping 6, offers a total of 15 beds + further sofas for 2 - 3 children, when used as a 3-unit compound for a large group or family.
