We lucked out with this property when our vacation fell through due to Covid travel restrictions. We couldn't have been more fortunate! The homeowner, Annick, was wonderful—communicative, friendly, and helpful with local tips. Having stayed in many rental properties, I can say that this one was among the most stocked with everything we could possibly need—from cleaning supplies to spices. The property itself has New England charm and lots of small rooms, optimal for families to spread out. We were two families with 4 adults and 3 children, and we never felt cramped. The best part of the property is the backyard overlooking Lewis Bay and that it is steps to a semi-private, very quiet and very shallow beach. Our kids (11, 13 & 14) spent hours catching minnows, wading in the shallow water, and playing water sports. We highly recommend Annicks's property!

We absolutely love your beautiful Cape home by the sea. Thank you for sharing the love of the Cape with us! After being cooped up in the house since March it was a nice escape from the Covid-19 life. Our extended family loved the house too as it was a great family getaway for all! Watching the great fireworks through the neighborhood (public ones cancelled due to Covid) was awesome, grilling bbq, music and good cheers made for a fabulous 4th of July! The beach was perfect for our family with small children and the baby. Enjoyed doing yoga on the back patio every morning with the view of tranquility! Look no further...this is the property to enjoy on Cape Cod! With over 20 years of renting on the Cape...we can honestly share that this home showcases the Cape's beauty and provides modern, clean and roomy accommodations. Our family of 8 have already booked our third summer here in 2019 and can't wait to return.

Traveling 8 hours on the road from upstate New York, what a pleasure it is to have a fully complete rental waiting with bedding, kitchen utensils, and more. The home is up to date but retains all the charm of a Cape Cod cottage. The porch and patio offer great outdoor views and conversation areas. There are also two sitting areas on the main floor with TV in one and another large TV area on the ground floor. But who needs TV when the views that beckon in each room. The fascination of the ferries, fishing boats, and private yachts is a magnet to your eyes. Personally I did sneak a peak at a Yankees-Red Sox game-a Bosox fan from New York go figure! The WiFi let me check the final score later....

The quiet street ends at the steps to the beach. The sandy area borders Lewis Bay and Hyannis Harbor. We only saw two other small families all week. The water is warm and the waves small--great swimming and kayaking.

Our advice: don't let this one get away!

We had a fun two week vacation here this year. After four years (2014) we came back to Cape Cod and this house for a holiday. This was our week vacation to celebrate our son's graduation from Johnson & Wales. We have enjoyed your cottage so much. The Perfect Cape Cottage was just that! The cottage has a wonderful view and has easy beach access. The yard was beautifully taken care of and nice and private. The home was well equipped. It was a fantastic get away location. We would highly recommend this location for your gathering.

Raised in New England but stuck living in Texas I had the great luck to find this home for a visit to my old stomping grounds. Annick was so accommodating and the cottage was right out of Yankee Magazine! Close to everything and tucked away within steps from the water, it is the real deal. Looking forward to our next visit!

The property was perfect, absolutely no complaints - beautiful house, perfect location, everything was in order upon our arrival, Anick was extremely helpful and friendly, and the view was amazing. Our long weekend at Annick's house was lovely. The location of the house was perfect. The beach was steps away and we went several times a day. We walked to the Hyannis shops on Main Street, then to the marina for lunch - no kids in and out of car seats. The view was stunning. The house is an authentic Cape summer home, beautifully furnished with antiques and new pieces for comfort. It was impeccably clean and updated. Annick went above and beyond to be helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

We were looking for a family vacation that we have not had in a while with my parents and could not have asked for a better vacation home or location. The house comfortably slept 6 children and a child, had a great back yard, and was on a quiet dead end street just a short walk from the beach.

Annick was there to go over everything with us when we arrived and available at any time throughout the week if we had any questions. The house was very clean and had every amenity you could ask for. Don't worry if you forget something because it is probably already there!

I recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation that is just a short drive from downtown Hyannis and 1 mile from the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

I was fortunate to stay at this fabulous cottage for a second time. The cottage is spotless, well maintained and feels like a home and not a vacation rental. There is ample room for a group of nine and cozy sitting areas inside and outside of the home with spectacular views. The proximity to the beach, ferries and restaurants makes the location ideal. We barely used our car during our stay. The cottage location is IDEAL for viewing fireworks on July 4th...we had an incredible, unobstructed view....even from inside the cottage. I highly recommend renting Annick's cottage as you will experience the feel of a Cape Cod home with all updated and modern amenities. Annick is super helpful and provides an extensive list of restaurants as well as information on what to do in the area.

The home is filled with games and puzzles as well as an amazing library. We traveled with our nine month old and didn't need to worry about a crib or high chair as these were all provided. Also, the proximity to the private beach is highly convenient, especially with a child. I can't say enough about this bit of paradise on Cape Cod. I hope to return to the cottage again...our family truly enjoyed our memorable stay.

My family and I had a wonderful stay on Cape Cod thanks to your amazing home. We traveled with our children and grandchildren and enjoyed every minute of our trip. The house offered everything we needed and much more. It was very well stocked, clean and welcoming...the book selections were over the top...better than the town library because it felt personal. The views were spectacular and won't fade from our memories for a very long time. The photos online accurately depicted the property but its even better in person. The little beach was perfect, not far to walk to and seemed like it was our private piece of paradise. We hope to return soon. Thank you.

Great experience for my wife and I, our four kids, son-in-law and two grandchildren. Annick met our group upon arrival and provided a detailed tour of the home. The view of the water from the back porch and yard was awesome. A one-minute walk to a "private" beach was great for the grandchildren as it allowed us to visit numerous times without effort. My granddaughter particularly liked the outdoor shower. Plenty of beach towels and chairs for our beach trips. Annick checked in with us a few times during the week ensuring we were enjoying our stay.

As for the house itself, it was well maintained with seemingly endless rooms. My grown boys were enamored with the book collection. The separate lower level living area allowed us to enjoy board games and a movie each evening without worry of waking the young ones.

The location was also a ten-minute walk to the ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard and a quick drive to area restaurants. Also, a centralized location for our day excursions to Dennis beaches and to Provincetown.

Our family looks forward to staying here again for a future Cape Cod vacation.

Now that our children have finished college and are venturing out to begin their own lives, we wanted one more family vacation that each of us could treasure. We found that. The home was spotless, comfortable with plenty of room to stretch out... I wanted to read, my husband enjoyed the beautiful view, my children played games, puzzles and our guests watched movies. The views were amazing. I can't decide which view I liked best: the view from the backyard shown in the picture, the tree lined view from the front porch, the window views or the view at the ocean. There was plenty to do in the area. The boys especially enjoyed the golf! It was just what we all needed - time together and time away from the stresses of work. Annick was terrific! Lovely home and stay!

We have rented several houses on Home Away and VRBO over the years. I can say that this absolutely the best place we have ever stayed and the first one that I would love to go back to. We were six adults visiting from California and a guest of ours from Denmark. The house provided more than enough room for us and was well stocked with all the basics. The location is really the greatest feature situated at the end of a quiet street. Besides the amazing views we were within walking distance of restaurants and the ferry to Nantucket. A morning walk to Main St. Hyannis was a great way to start the day. Doug and Annick could not have been more accommodating - even going out of their way to ensure that our two cases of wine we had sent ahead from California where in the house waiting for us. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

House location is fantastic, views of the bay, 100 yards walk to the beach. Rooms are clean, house has all necessary amenities; a/c, two kitchens, outside bbq, large downstairs lounge for group TV viewing of those important games. House is located down a quiet street, but still is walking distance to ferries. Also plenty of good nearby restaurants, must try Crisp pizzas, scallop and bacon well recommended! House is great for families and groups alike.

We very much enjoyed our stay with our three small kids. The house has a great sitting room with a stunning view of Lewis Bay to sit and watch the ferry boats coming and going. Very safe street, just a few steps to small beach for a morning or late afternoon walk. The care taker, Heather, was so kind and helpful! Annick was also very welcoming and understanding of our needs with having young children. She had a crib, gate, even a high chair! Hope to stay again!

I simply can't say enough good things about our experience at this property! We were made to feel welcome and right at home right away. Immaculate and tastefully decorated in classic Cape Cod style. Having grown up spending time on the Cape every summer; I can truly say that this place epitomizes the charm of this part of the country. The library in the downstairs portion has an enviable amount of literature on virtually every topic imaginable. Right next to a beach with a view of a beautiful, little bay that is teeming with sea life. There is no need to fight for a parking space at any beach elsewhere on the Cape. If you are looking for the perfect Cpae Cod get-away; you just found it!

We wish we could stay another week here! We have many memories of Cape Cod and hoe to all be back someday.

Wow, don't know where to start. This is our first experience with this type of a vacation rental but surely will not be our last. From the first e mail till Saturday morning as we were leaving, the homeowners were awesome. They were very helpful with information about the Cape including traffic, restaurants, etc.. This was our first visit to Cape Cod and it was absolutely fabulous! The house was very clean and exactly as explained in the description. Everything we needed over the course of the week was there, even laundry detergent. The location of the house was perfect as we had the awesome ocean view and were able to walk nearly everywhere- the marina, downtown, beach, etc.

Modernized Cape home with fantastically comfortable beds, spacious rooms,beautifully appointed throughout and incredible views of Lewis Bay. Additionally, there's a separate downstairs apartment that has a huge flat-sceen tv/ media center. Outdoor shower, which I love. The grounds w/ hydrangeas are perfectly kept; I think I spent the most time on the front porch watching those incredible Cape sunsets each night... Easy access to Hyannis & shopping, the harbor & great restaurant and Rte. 6 / 28/ 132. Overall perfection ! We so enjoyed our stay!!

This is indeed the Perfect Cape Cod Cottage. I had a wonderful Cape Cod experience in this perfectly situated cottage. The views are breath taking and the short walk to the beach made every morning spectacular. The cottage is spotless and was well stocked with amenities. Although the surrounding area is lovely and there is lots within walking distance, we found it hard to leave the cottage and backyard. It is perfect for families or a group of friends seeking a relaxing Cape Cod vacation. I highly recommend it and will definitely rent it again! The owners were wonderful and easily accessible. We just returned from an amazing stay in Cape Code. This house is extremely well-equiped - we celebrated Thanksgiving. The house was very clean and in an excellent location. We walked to the beach daily. We used the kitchen for our entire group of 6 adults and 2 kids. It was absolutely fantastic!
