Bass River Retreat 250 Yard from Windmill Beach

We stayed here for a week with another family. The front yard was very large and able to accommodate several lawn games being played at once. The backyard is so peaceful with a huge deck for eating and sunbathing. The inside of the home has 2 areas with TV's so the kids could watch what they wanted without disturbing the adults. Large dining room so we could all eat together. The outside shower was really cool too. Great location close to everything from beaches to mini golf, ice cream, liquor store and shopping. Laundry was very convenient as well.

We had such a great time. The house was perfect, in a great location and wow that bakery was fantastic.

Wonderful home for our week away on Cape Cod. We loved the location, close to beaches and not too far from restaurants. We also liked the bakery around the corner for our a.m. coffee. We have stayed here at this house the same week in July for the past several years. We have had great experiences every year. The house is very clean, and roomy. It is not too hot even on humid days because of the location and there is a nice breeze most days. We have only good things to say and we are thankful to have found this house to rent for our yearly vacation. The owner has been great to work with, always responds timely to e-mails or questions. The house was ideal for our group (in-laws, couple with 3 children). We gave the in-laws the master bedroom and we stayed in the other large first floor bedroom, kids were upstairs. Between the living room, den and outdoor deck, there was plenty of common areas. Though a bit dated on the inside, everything was clean and we had everything we needed. Distance to the beaches were as advertised. Windmill beach offered both a sandy beach and a grassy park. The provided wagon was great for hauling our gear back and forth during the 5 minute walk to the beach. show more show less

We had a marvelous week at this home. The house was well stocked with all the necessities to have a wonderful week that made it feel like we were at home. The weather was perfect for enjoying all outdoor activities. The daily walks to the beach were a hit with everyone. We found the back deck to be very accommodating for our little people. We look forward to vacationing here again next year.
