Annual Ukulele Fest

About Annual Ukulele Fest...Under the direction of Steve Gregory, owner of SCORE Music Studio in Sandwich, and in a joint effort of the Sandwich Arts Alliance, the Annual Ukulele Fest takes place on Sunday, March 3th from 3-5 pm at Sandwich Town Hall on 130 main Street. A $10 donation at the door is requested. $2 Children. This year’s theme will be “Rock Music of the Sixties”. Several area groups will be performing at the festival including Susan Anarino’s Dolphin Ukulele Ensemble directed by Susan Anarino; The Ukuladies - a band of 6 women that live on Cape Cod; the Cape Cod Ukulele Club led by Cathy Hatch; Main Street Muzic Collective; and the CCFTA Allstars and Uketopian Ukulele Band both led by Steve Gregory. Featured are seasoned players along with students of all ages at various levels of experience. As a finale, all ukulele players will participate in a version of the Beatles’ "Twist and Shout".
