Chappy is our favorite place on earth! The peace and quiet in the woods and on the beaches is great - and you can still have the convenience and fun of Edgartown's shops and restaurants with a quick drive or bike ride and 2 minute ferry ride.

Centrally located, very well equipped Chappy cottage - quick bike ride or drive to Wasque or East Beach/Dyke Bridge, short walk to Katama Bay landing (Quommox) and steps from beautiful paths through Land Bank conservation areas.

4 roomy bedrooms and 2 full baths plus outdoor shower. First Floor: 1BR w/Double, 1 BR w/twin + Full/Twin bunk. 2nd Floor: 1 BR w/Double + twin and Master BR with King and private balcony.

Huge screen porch with big dining table and living area. Well equipped kitchen. Plus deck and gas grill area.

Beach chairs, a couple of bikes in the basement. Also- two sit-on top kayaks/paddles/life vests are available for you to pop on your car if you want to take then to the beach.

Things to do:
We spend our sunnydays on Chappy on one of the secluded strands between the Katama Bay and the ocean, or Cape Pogue Pond and East Beach. We come with clam rakes, umbrellas, and a cooler. Whether you enjoy the water and the sun, fishing, bird watching, the beaches are a beautiful place to spend time.

The hammock in the yard is good for a novel or two. We grill, cook-up our clams, or bake fresh-from-the-local-fleet fish. Edgartown is easy to reach for walking tours or shopping. Car shopping trips onto Martha's Vineyard always include a stop at Morning Glory Farm for vegetables grown on the island (also check out Slip Away farm stand on Chappy!). At least once a trip, we make the pilgrimage to the Flying Horses carousel at OB, and we love to visit Aquinnah and watch the sunset over by Menemsha.
