You can't beat the location! The home is clean and the yard is well maintained, it was perfect for our needs! John is an attentive and responsive host, to make sure your stay is great!

During this year's annual visit we found this comfy home to be as welcoming as it has always been! It's extremely clean and everything you need for your stay is available. The house is located in a quiet family neighborhood with a large yard and back deck- you might not ever leave, but if you do, Edgartown, beaches, and the bike path are steps away. You get the convenience of exciting MV life along with the quiet of a side street. Couldn't be better! The homeowner is extremely responsive and keeps his property in good condition. We love staying here, it feels like home!

This was a great spot to settle down for a long weekend. Our family of 5 fit perfectly. A very easy walk to Edgartown center, we had a car and were able to visit beautiful beaches, towns throughout the Vineyard and go food shopping easily to make meals at home. Would definitely come back and stay if we need a getaway.

The house is well maintained, and stocked with everything you need to have a great vacation. It is set back from a side street, and the neighborhood is quiet. The yard is large and we made use of both the deck overlooking the back yard, and the swing in the front yard.

It is an easy walk to several close by restaurants (Atria, Town, Sharky's and Bad Martha's), and the walk into Edgartown is short enough to walk easily as well.

The owner was very attentive, and helpful. We enjoyed staying and look forward to returning in 2023.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful private yard. The home was clean, comfortable and well situated for our stay. It is located within walking distance to Stop & Shop and all downtown Edgartown has to offer! The owner John is kind, attentive and helped to make our stay great. We hope to return next summer!!

We've stayed at this perfectly situated and well cared for home for several years and as soon as we leave we set dates to come back. In a quiet neighborhood, everything you need is within, the owner is extremely responsive, and all in all it's a home away from home.

We were fortunate enough to win the Marshfield High's School Touch Down Club raffle.

Go Rams-super bowl champs and perennial Massachusetts state power football program. I'm a football mom and my husband a Rams coach.

One of the coaches volunteered his home for the fundraising.

We booked a prime June week below market (no one was paying attentions at the raffle).

Great location, clean, friendly neighborhood. Our first time visit to the island as a family and we were thrilled with the spot and accommodations.

The coach gave us a list of activities to enjoy with our 6 year-old.

· South Beach big waves (with a life preserver of course- our son is fearless).
· Sunset at Menemsha Beach.

We'll bid more next year for the value. We're hoping it will be annual event for our family. And watch our son grow bigger on the "growing wall" over the years to come.

What an adorable home. Very comfortable with all the amenities one could need. A full kitchen with all the utensils I needed to cook, washer/dryer, and plenty of sheets and towels for my use. It's literally walkable to downtown Edgartown, but with a super spacious lawn I was very comfortable hanging out on the deck and enjoy the sun and my book. The owner was super easy to talk to and helped make my stay perfect. Oh and the place was immaculate when I got there. Francine, the cleaning lady, is a gem!

This was a great time to visit the island, not too busy, and perfect weather. Staying at this house is always a treat and will continue to be a repeat visit. Walking distance to downtown Edgartown to have a romantic picnic at the lighthouse or make a dinner in with the full kitchen and grill.

Such a cozy place on the island on a quiet street allowing you to truly unwind and enjoy some relaxation. Thank you for letting us stay here!

We loved the location of the house! Walking distance to town and to Stop & Shop. We used the new beach chairs and paddle game at the beach most days. The A/Cs worked well on the few hot days. We appreciated John's tips and he called when we were arriving on the ferry to let us know we could check in early. He is a very attentive and proud homeowner, if we don't find our own house to buy we will be back!

I stayed in the house for two months during the shoulder season. It is in a great location in Edgartown. I walked to get coffee and breakfast at nearby coffee shops every morning. The house has a pretty large yard and there's plenty of privacy.

John was very attentive during my stay; he had a neighbor install an AC unit when the summer weather hit and the lawn was mowed and watered often.

John's cottage is not only cute, cozy, functional, and well situated, it has heart. You can feel the vibes of guests on vacation over time, or John's own family over the years, and you feel at ease and welcome - like it's your long-lost home - the moment you walk in.

I stayed during the offseason for several months, and at times was solo ("working from home"), and at times had friends and kids visiting. The cottage was perfectly suited for each scenario.

Pro's: open plan, outdoor shower, lovely yard, lots of beds, close to Edgartown, walking distance to everything in town (no car needed); bikes on property, high/cute curb appeal.

Con's: only one power outlets in each bedroom, bring a power strip!

We enjoyed staying at Felix Domus. House was very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay, including an outdoor shower, plenty of towels and linens. The location was perfect for us, close to stores, restaurants (take out and outdoor dining), and close to the bike paths. (we are definitely bringing our bikes next time.) State beach and Lighthouse beach is just 10 minutes away, and also close to the Chappy Ferry. The neighborhood is very quiet and private. We are planning to come back next year.

John's home was great for our vacation. It is close to all Edgartown has to offer. We loved walking into town or biking to Edgartown beach. John was also very communicative, and answered all questions we had. Great stay, will be back!

We've had the pleasure of staying in this cottage a few times and have been pleasantly surprised how ideal it is for our stay on the Vineyard. All the requirements of a home are catered for, making it a comfortable stay.

The property is so well located, either walking into the shopping and restaurant areas or for exploring the Island. If you wish to leave the car, the MV bus stop is only around the corner. The owner seems to care about his customers, and communications are always great.

We had a great stay. It was perfect for our family of four and dog. Nice size yard. Quite close to to town, so we could easily go in to get coffee in the morning and run the dog at Lighthouse Beach. It was comfortable with all the basics. We'd definitely come back again!

This cottage fit our needs perfectly and the owner was outstanding in his communication and assistance with orientation to the island, suggestions of things to do, etc.... The location was amazing, and it was so nice to be able to walk to town, restaurants, etc.... Also super convenient having linens provided, beach chairs, and other amenities. We will be back!

This is our 4th summer vacation here, and we look forward to many more. The house is spotless and has everything we need to feel at home. The location is quiet but near everything, and we love being part of a neighborhood. The owner has great communication and always updates something each year. We truly love it here!

Enjoyed the stay at your “Cozy Cottage”. It was just my wife and I, and my son and his wife joined us for a couple of nights. Great time with them. The beaches were great -- we made all the stops: Fuller Street Beach -- nice walk to and from, State Beach. We biked, stopped at “Crab Creek” as you suggested, catch and release, drove to South Beach for the surf . Skunked my son in hoops at the Edgartown School ( I still got it -- and a torn hammy). Got to the house a few hours early-met Lisa the cleaner-she was great-left it spotless. Had everything we needed-beach chairs are a nice touch (less to pack) gas grill with the extra tank, outdoor shower was the best, washer dryer ( I actually caught Bev wife using clothes line-I thought she forgot how) ate on the deck-so private and quiet, shops, groceries, restaurants all right there. I see you replaced the grill, stove, patio furniture and TV this year, nice. My wife Beverly may be coming in the off season (September) when all the children are back in school. Thanks again, John. Hold my spot for 2019, as Arnold said -“ I’LL BE BACK”.

This is our third summer here.
We loved the house, bright, sunny, clean, close to everything in Edgartown. Shops, dining, beaches, Dairy Queen, movies, Stop and Shop, museums and library. Bike paths at end of street to OB, South Beach and the Edgartown School-tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball field and inline hockey rink.

The kids loved the walk into town and the school roller rink without us. We biked to State Beach and they had their first jump off the Jaws Bridge - we got the video. They went the next day by themselves for more.

Took the “On-Time” ferry to Chappy for a day at the beach and watching the boats go through Edgartown Harbor. Must do on Chappy is the lighthouse tour with the Trustees Reservation.

The owner leaves it turnkey-bed linens, towels, coolers, chairs. Easy to deal with, I ran over some of his bikes upon leaving-no problem-no charge. He said “just part of your vacation-see you next year”. And we will. Grilling on the back deck was always a great option to end a fun filled day out and about - right after enjoying the outdoor shower.

The pricing was just right for a family. Couldn’t find any better pricing if you want Edgartown proper.

My husband, daughter and I stayed here in June for a week and really enjoyed our vacation. The house was perfect for us, located on a quiet, leafy street that was within easy walking distance to downtown Edgartown and a short cycle to the beaches. The house was well equipped and has a private back deck with grill where we could cook fresh fish from Edgartown Fish Market, which is only a 5 minute walk from the house.

Looking forward to returning.

This is our 3rd year staying in this lovely home- cannot think of any improvement needed. It's obvious that the owner cares- little changes each year show his attention. We feel like we belong when we're here!

This was our second Fall stay at this beautiful cottage, and it was the perfect place for another great vacation - house was spotless, well-stocked with everything we needed, and located in a quiet, friendly, safe neighborhood with easy walk to and from town. Owner is a pleasure to work with. We're hoping to return to this island gem and would highly recommend it to others!

My husband and I stayed here just after Labor Day and had an incredible week exploring Martha's Vineyard from this wonderful house in Edgartown. The house was perfect for us and we really loved the location — easily walkable to everything in Edgartown and also just a couple of blocks from the bus stop; one of our favorite things about MV is the bus system, because it's nice to just hop on the bus to check out other parts of the island and not have to drive all the time and be looking for parking!

The owner John was really great, gave us lots of information about things to do, and the house was exactly as described. We have been thinking about our return visit next year since the day we left and we can't wait!

This was our first year staying in a location that was in walking distance to downtown Edgartown, and I don't think we will do our vacations any other way! It's a short walk to Main Street, maybe about 5-10 minutes. Right around the corner from Atria, Lucky Hanks, Shaws, and Bad Martha's Brewery. For professionals in their mid-twenties or even parents that would like to enjoy the town without the hassle of driving or finding parking, it is highly recommended.

There were four of us for the week, and the house was the perfect size. Of course we would have loved the bedrooms and beds to be a bit bigger (both bedrooms have fulls and the loft has two twins), but you really can't beat the location.

The yard was well kept and had plenty of room for yard games. The patio, grill, and outdoor shower worked great and was a nice touch.

Thanks again for hosting us. We will certainly be back!

This was the perfect spot! Easy to access bike routes, walking distance into Edgartown and the grocery! We had a wonderful weekend with our family and celebrating a wedding. Thank you, John!!

This is the 3rd time that we have stayed here and are continuing to be repeat customers! This was a blast to really explore the island and find some new adventure each time we come. We ended up coming earlier this trip, and the house was very accommodating to eat in and make dinners and breakfast while still having the luxury of being walking distance to downtown Edgartown. My friends and I have decided to make this an annual trip and visit every year! This house is so quaint and even has bikes so you can stroll around the town too! I definitely recommend this location for anyone who is looking to enjoy the weekend while being close to downtown activities but still wants to have a chill evening in too.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming home. It's in a quiet residential location in Edgartown, close to downtown, the bike path, beaches, and roads to other parts of the island. It has everything we need for a great stay - kitchen is outfitted, washer/dryer, linens, sunny rooms, back deck. It was spotless. The owner communicates quickly. We felt immediately at home here for our 10 day stay. We'll be back!

My two sisters and I recently attended my niece's wedding in Edgartown. We were perfectly located to the downtown church and rehearsal and reception venues. This cozy cottage is private, lots of sunlight streaming in, located in a quiet/safe neighborhood, great for power walking and so close to the downtown area. You're never too old to add to the "growing wall" in the kitchen! The outdoor shower is perfect for viewing the stars, shining like diamonds at night. Exploring the nearby western side of the island, we found Menemsha and Lambert's Cove, perfect for stunning sunsets. Thank you so much, John, for making our stay on the island a memorable one.

We stayed in this home for two weeks and cannot describe how convenient it was for us to walk or ride bikes to downtown, the beach, Morning Glory Farm, etc. The home was quaint and perfect for us. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful patio. Thank you for opening up your home for us to enjoy and for being so accommodating in every sense of the word :))

I was happy to get away for a mini vacation to Martha's Vineyard. It was my first time on the island, and Edgartown was such a lovely place to visit as well! It wasn't too touristy, and there were plenty of places to explore with little shops and restaurants, and the beach was BEAUTIFUL!

All of this was in waking distance from this quaint house that my boyfriend and I stayed at. This place could easily fit a large group of people, but it made it nice and spacious for just the 2 of us. It had a full kitchen, full bathroom with a nice standing shower, and a big backyard where we could eat outside on the deck if we wanted.

I definitely enjoyed my visit and would come back whenever I can!

The home is in an excellent location for walking to Edgartown and very close to the transit stops as well - great if you are not taking a vehicle onto the island. The layout worked out very well for traveling with a toddler, well stocked kitchen and bath, easy to locate and operate everything in the home. Owner was a breeze to deal with. Great value. Will definitely be back.

This home has great accommodations with great location and great value. There were 6 of us who stayed (with kids). House has plenty of room. Everything was provided from linens to plates to coolers to grill. Edgartown restaurants, shops and beaches within a short walk. There is a backyard that is private! House is well kept, well maintained and clean. A great combination of location, accommodation and value. We will go back. It is a gem!

We rented this lovely dollhouse for Columbus Day weekend. LOVED the location, easy walk to town, restaurants, stores, etc. but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Very private yard. The homeowner was a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend :)
