This was our first summer year renting on island and this house did not disappoint! There is a great backyard for lawn games and a huge picnic table for cook outs. The house is clean, wonderfully decorated and ample bedrooms (and bedding) for our family and guests. We enjoyed the screened in porch for entertaining guests. The living room is great for a family movie night. The house is conveniently located, walkable to OB center, and on a very quiet, definitely have privacy from the neighbors. The broker, Deborah Eggers Realty, was easy to work with and ensured we had whatever we needed while we were on the Island. Did I mention the large basement and games for kids. We had a wonderful week at Lauren's home. The location was perfect for our family vacation, with easy access and walking distance to everything we needed.

We especially enjoyed being able to walk to the Falmouth Commodores field, where our son was interning for the summer. Shipwrecked and Old Casino was also nearby and offered a convenient golf cart shuttle that picked us up and dropped us off for lunch or dinner. We had a delicious dinner at Taco Blanco, the sister restaurant of Anejo, which is located close to the field.

The nearby beach provided quiet, relaxing days filled with reading and finally mastering paddleboarding. We already miss coffee with a view, walking along the trail and seeing the moonlight shining across the water at night.

One note for anyone with dog allergies: There may be pet allergens in the home. My husband experienced sneezing throughout the week, so allergy medication may be helpful.
