We brought our family to this rental in Nantucket. We've rented for over 10 years on Nantucket, and know the island well. This is our favorite rental for our family among the 7 or 8 different properties we've rented through the years. The property was quiet, convenient, modern, and very relaxing.
The property is close enough for walking to town easily. We rode bikes (Youngs Rental) for the week, but often walked into town for dinner, shopping, or evening strolls. The biking is very accessible for easy rides to the beach, town or favorite spots.
We love the location of this property as it's "just right" for about everything: close to town for walking without being too close for noise or traffic; close to best beaches (Dionnis, Steps, Childrens, Surfside) without being too far out or too expensive for a waterfront rental; plenty of space for Nantucket evenings on the spacious porch with no close neighbors like many intown rentals we've had through the years.
Appliances, linens, lobster pot (mandatory on Nantucket) were all super with no issues or concerns. There is a charcoal grill which was great for fish and burgers.
The house has plenty of comfortable easy chairs both inside and out for our family with two teenagers. The house was clean, modern, and no issues with owners. The owner transactions were excellent and timely, which we greatly appreciate.
We love this house for a family rental and plan to return with family or for a romantic getaway this fall - everything was perfect for our needs!
