I have been renting this beautiful home for several summers, and it is a wonderful vacation retreat. It is located in beautiful Welfleet, with its gorgeous beaches and fresh water ponds. Dyer Pond is a lovely swimming pond just a 5-minute walk from the house on a sandy wooded trail (used primarily by residents along the wooded trail and very private).
Although I usually rent in July, last summer I spent a week there in June; the pond water was warm and the usual summer crowds were absent from the town and beaches.
There are eclectic shops and galleries in town, and a wonderful summer theatre to see plays and other performances. The house itself is wonderful. The beds are super comfortable, furniture functional and tasteful, and the overall layout is architecturally ingenious. You may not want to leave the house!
