We arrived slightly "off season" but had been at the Outer Cape area previously a few times to rent cottages. This was no "cottage," but a large, spacious, serene house (as if we'd left home and arrived home simultaneously). The house is 1/2 surrounded by a large, high deck, overlooking spectacular wooded grounds and a large pond, available for boating and fishing. No road noise, no neighbor noise, although some may be around nearby.
We walked to Close Encounter Beach, on the bay side of the Cape, apparently where the Pilgrims first met the Nauset Indians. Gorgeous sunsets here for camera buffs. A five-ten minute drive to the magnificent Cape Cod National Seashore. It's the most beautiful part of the Cape. The house is designed for the utmost privacy, no matter the number of vacationers. Beautifully furnished and equipped with more than enough lodging, dining facilities. Our only annoyance during our entire stay was when we had to start packing to head back to Denver.show moreshow less
