Ten members of my extended family -- six adults and four college students -- enjoyed a wonderful week together in this home. The well-equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill were perfect for preparing family dinners, eaten at the large table in the dining area. We really appreciated the large living room, which accommodated all of us, with a spectacular view of the pond and a large-screen TV for watching one of the hundreds of movies available. The bedrooms are spacious and provided privacy or a place to be alone when anyone wanted to get away from the crowd. Close to grocery shopping, Mashpee Commons, and Mashpee Pond beach. Twelve adults, aged 20 to 91, stayed together for a week-long reunion in this lovely home in Dennis in August 2021. The week happened to be very hot and humid, and we were so glad for the quiet and efficient central AC!

Our family cooked and ate together every night, sometimes using the outdoor grill and sometimes the kitchen; both areas had everything we needed to make and serve meals for 12. We slept comfortably and enjoyed the two gathering rooms, one with television and one without, so people could choose.

We loved the historical aspects of the home, and we also appreciated that fresh donuts and a well-stocked market were nearly across the street for easy access. The Dennis beaches with their huge tidal shifts are very close, as is a lovely, cool, fresh-water lake. We had a wonderful time!show moreshow less

We loved this house! My extended family spent a week there, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The screened porch was my favorite place to sit and read or converse with family members, and the large table on the deck was perfect for family meals. My only caveat for future guests is that not all of the bedrooms are air conditioned. We were fortunate, because the week we spent there was mostly cool, but if we had been there during hotter weather, some of us would have had restless nights. Some people may not feel the need for AC as much as my family does, though, and for them, this is a perfect vacation house. Cotuit is a great little town.show moreshow less
