Seven years ago my wife and I decided it was time to start an annual family vacation at Cape Cod. We rented a couple of different homes the first few years, but as our family grew we needed more space. We found Joan's home online, booked it four years ago, and we have returned every year since. It has become a cherished retreat for our party of thirteen including our three children, their spouses, and our five grandchildren.
The home is meticulously cared for inside and out. The multiple bedrooms, baths, and spacious family gathering spaces provide comfort for all of us together or for smaller groupings. The deck is very large, nicely furnished, and offers a covered section to escape the sun. The yard is beautifully maintained with fenced in privacy and ample space for a family game of touch football or whiffle ball. A spacious basement area provides recreation and laundry facilities as well as ample space for storage of luggage, golf clubs, etc to avoid clutter in the living spaces. There is parking for 5-6 vehicles. Access to a small private beach is a three minute walk and West Dennis Beach is a three minute drive or fifteen minute walk. Joan is a pleasure to work with and responds immediately to questions to help you enjoy your stay.
