You'll Find It Here!

Yarmouth Jewelers has a wonderful assortment of Cape cod themed jewelry. They carry a large line of Sailor's Valentines pendants and charms which I found nowhere else during my visit. The sales associate encouraged me to look at books on display explaining the history of the original shell creations now recreated in the pendants I was considering. At no time did I feel any pressure to purchase anything. The jeweler is very personable and honest in her dealings with customers. She provided excellent advice about the repair of my wedding ring which had finally worn through on one side after 37 years of wear.
This business is located in the Yarmouth Shoping Center , something to be aware of if using a GPS to locate it. The shop would be of interest to those looking for a high quality momento of a Cape vacation or a piece of any other lovely silver or gold jewelry.

All Quacked Up

Riding the Duckmobile is a fun experience for all ages. From quacking at passersby to hearing about local lore and legend it's a unique way to see Hyannis and environs. One recommendation - plan ahead! We were disappointed at our first attempt to get tickets because they seem to sell out quickly. Traffic around Hyannis can be very congested during tourist season so allow plenty of time to get into town.

Must Do!

Pirate's Cove has been a "must do" on our CC vacation for many years. This awesome mini-golf is fun for all ages. From talking pirates to darkened caves, waterfalls and "cannonballs" hitting the water there's something to entertain all. Two courses are available and we prefer the "old" one simply due to tradition. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and provide little pirate flags and other goodies for the little ones . It's best to go here after sunset to enjoy the full effect of the surroundings. It does get quite crowded during top tourist season but watching others attempting to keep golf balls out of the water and traps is part of the fun! There is a gift shop and ice cream, of course, across the parking lot with all manner of pirate themed items. Don't miss Pirate's Cove!

Not Just For Rainy Days

We visited the Cape Playhouse to see "The Graduate" starring Patricia Richardson. The Playhouse attracts top name performers who present a polished show to please all. All ages could enjoy this venue since there are varied shows for all ages. The theater itself is charmingly quaint and obtaining tickets (reasonably priced) was easy by phone. We had orchestra seats but the theater is small enought that I think any seat would be satisfactory. Traffic was not an issue and parking was plentiful. Intermission was enjoyed outside near a Victorian gazebo. The theater staff was very personable and we will definitely return next year.
