Our family booked a week at “The Cat’s Meow” in early August 2018. We were hoping for a place to base ourselves out of for a week of beach time and fun. The Cat’s Meow, just up the road from Forest Beach, met and exceeded our expectations! The house was immaculate upon our arrival. It had everything we needed including a fantastic wagon to take our beach items down to the beach. The location in South Chatham was ideal for us. Its location Mid-Cape and gives easy access to all sections of Cape Cod. The village of Chatham is very close and the quintessential Cape Cod town. The Cat’s Meow is the perfect blend between beach cottage and high-tech living. The large screen TV was a pleasure in the evening, the washer and drier just made everything easy, the coffee maker made the mornings a pleasure, the beads were super comfy, and granite counter top in the kitchen gave us the feel of living with a little luxury.
I do have to say my favorite feature of the house, which makes it a true beach house, is the outdoor hot water shower! For me there was no reason to take a shower indoors! The owner Bill was a pleasure to work with and the lease up process was super transparent and easy. I can’t wait for our return trip to South Chatham and the “Cat’s Meow.”
