We loved the location of this little house. It was so quiet, not too far from the bike trail and near a little pond. Mary was very prompt in replying to any queries, and a fair and upfront host. The patio was well cared for, the kitchen really well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The bedrooms on the main level were charming and although the decor was not new or modern this suited us perfectly with young children, and it was all clean. My sister was in a bigger, lighter, "prettier" house but theirs did not have half the practical items that this rental comes with! You can tell that this house is somewhere that is looked after by its guests. The extra single bedroom in the basement with the sofa bed in the next section is not as welcoming as the main part of the house and I'd consider it best used just as a stop gap for a night or so. But it's useful to have the small bathroom there. And the laundry facilities were good. Upstairs we used air conditioning on really hot days with efficient new units in each room. The outside shower works well. We'd definitely consider coming again.show moreshow less
