While we typically stay in more secluded areas, we really enjoyed all the opportunities this location provided. You can walk or bike everywhere - the pier, restaurants, 'downtown', playground, tennis....We are partial to the Ocean Beaches - and they are all wonderful.
It was a treat to walk across the street and sit on benches overlooking the harbor with morning coffee. We also walked over to the beach after dinner with a chair and a drink to watch the sun set - it was lovely. All the neighbors we interacted with with super friendly and happy to share their favorite local spots, and the host was fantastic to work with.show moreshow less

We feel very grateful to share this special place with others and are so very happy that you enjoyed your stay in our cottage. Like you, we stayed in a remote cottage on the ocean side for well over 30 years before finding we liked 'being closer to the action' that is Wellfleet! :-)
