Total Relaxation, the perfect hideaway
June 2022

This home was the perfect hideaway/getaway for our family vacation. Located in the quiet village of Manomet, this fully stocked and beautiful home was more than we could have hoped for. It was the perfect location for all we wanted to do, whether it was driving off to CT to visit the Mystic Aquarium, or fishing and swimming at College Pond, walking Nantasket Beach, visiting family and friends, watching the Quincy Flag Day Parade, going on a Whale Watch or just relaxing and doing nothing at all, we were centrally located with easy access to the highway, stores, shops, grocery stores, sites and phenomenal dining.

Our 9 year old loved the beach, and his favorite thing to do was relax in the hammock in the beautiful, lush backyard and just listen to the waves crashing. It was truly a little slice of heaven.

Our Hostess Sandie was more than accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. We had some unconventional dates for our vacation, and the cancellation of our return flight home threw us a curveball, but with Sandie's help we were able to secure an additional night at her beautiful home. This truly was the perfect vacation in Manomet...for us it was a time to make new family memories in addition to taking a walk down memory lane. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation or Hostess to work with. We wished we didn't have to leave.....

Amazing Stay at This Beautiful Home
August 2023

Captain's Cottage was the perfect home away from home for our family. This beautiful house sits on a quiet corner lot with a beautiful backyard to sit and have your morning cup of coffee among the lush greenery.

The house came equipped with everything you would need, linens, cooking essentials, beach chairs, toys etc. It is perfectly situated for a short walk to Priscilla beach where we spent almost every day of our trip. The quiet, quaint community is filled with beautiful homes and amazing neighbors who we chatted with and were happy to offer us use of their beach gear if we chose.

Captains Cottage is easily accessible to downtown Plymouth, Rte 3A, Rte 3 and was central to all of our daily jaunts. While on our stay we went to a Red Sox/Yankees game, visited the Museum of Science, walked Castle Island and ate at Sullivan's, visited the Union Oyster House for dinner and walked over to the North End for dessert at Mike's Pastry. Our son spent days fishing at Myles Standish Forest, we visited with friends in Carver and ate at some of our favorite places in Plymouth, Manomet and Middleboro...we are originally from the area and have since moved away due to my Husband's job, so this home was PERFECT for all our needs.

Working with Colleen was a breeze! She is very attentive and quick to respond, contract was easy to follow with no hidden fees or charges.

We absolutely loved our stay and would book with Colleen at this or any other of her properties. The home was amazing and we can't wait to return.
