This house is an awesome place to stay for a Cape Cod vacation if you like outer cape. The house does not have AC but does have fans. It took a couple of days to cool down since it was hot and humid when we arrived but ultimately the fans worked great.
We found some small broken items here and there which we alerted the owners but the house comes with a well equipped kitchen, TV, movies, games, etc. The house is in a great location and close proximity to many beaches, restaurants and P-town.
Unfortunately we did have a mice problem while we were there. Mice got into much of our food. We notified the owner who advised they had tried to exterminate once before. We set our own traps and caught one mouse but we know there were more since they continued to get into our food. I mention this since there is a cleaning fee for the house that renters must pay. Hopefully this will be resolved for future renters.show moreshow less

Thanks so much for you thorough and candid review! Yes, the mice have been a problem this year, even though we thought we had eradicated them earlier. We take your comments to heart. We aren't sure, but we've been told that it was all the wet weather we've been having that has been driving them indoors. We really appreciate your helpful nature on this in helping us catch one. We have been in touch with our exterminator and they will be on call now for 24/7 service if a need arises in the future. Your comment about cleanliness is one we take to heart as well. We have an excellent cleaning service provider who does an extensive job each week between the guests. They are on the lookout for anything that might be awry and report to us each week upon their arrival. Thanks again for all your good comments both positive and negative. That's how we learn to keep improving our rental!
