After spending many years vacationing on the Cape when our children were small, we wanted a vacation home that could comfortably accommodate our now much larger family. Our recent vacation at the Parsonage was absolutely perfect!

The home is pristine, and beautifully updated and decorated. Being fans of early American history, we loved the historical significance of staying in the Parsonage, circa 1823! The rooms are all large and Include a gorgeous sunroom, the perfect setting for family dinners, games, and movie night.

The pool is the largest and most beautiful one we have ever seen in a backyard! Grown-ups and children alike enjoyed many hours swimming and playing with the myriad of toys and floats available. The grounds and gardens are well cared for, picturesque, and have many of our favorite hydrangeas!

The Carriage House ( pool house) too is such a bonus with its extra bedroom, bathroom, and shower!

There are many beaches and places to explore nearby, far more possibilities than time in a week!

Finally, Jackie and Mike are wonderful and caring hosts! It is obvious how much they love their home and how they desire renters to enjoy it to the fullest. From the very beginning, they promptly answered all our questions and were always available with ideas and suggestions. Their kindness and attentiveness was important to us and did not go unnoticed.

We highly recommend the Parsonage for your next vacation! Our family had a magical week there and hope to return one day soon!show moreshow less

After vacationing on the Cape for about 35 years, we thought we had experienced everything our favorite area had to offer. Boy, were we wrong! Who would have thought that after going over the Bourne Bridge and then crossing a tiny bridge that there was an enchanted wooded island full of beauty, fun, and adventure.
Our family of 7, including 3 grandchildren, and 4 adults, spent a recent July week on Tobey Island, a remarkable quiet retreat!
We spent the week kayaking, swimming, fishing, exploring the tiny islands created during low tide, and searching for hidden treasures such as sea glass, rocks, sand crabs and a myriad of other little sea creatures that excited the kids. The island is a haven for birds, and we spent much time watching them in their natural
environment. We experienced all this away from the traffic and crowds that summer brings to the Cape.
Brian and Martha's home is lovely. It is large, organized, comfortable, and spotless. They have thought of everything that guests might need and enjoy, being well-stocked with household supplies, books, games, first aid items, beach chairs, and a great outdoor shower. Our grandchildren loved the hammock and enjoyed reading in it! The Buzzard Bay views from the windows and the sunsets were serene and peaceful!
Thank you, Brian and Martha, for your attention to detail and for all your advice, ideas, and availability to answer our questions and concerns before, during, and after our vacation. Thank you also for your thoughtfulness with the beautiful welcome basket. It was very appreciated. It is obvious that your home and Tobey Island are both precious to you, rich in family history. We were honored to have been able to share some of that magic with our family.
