"We spent a glorious week in July at Just Add Water, and it was absolutely perfect for our family getaway. We had multiple generations under one roof, and the house worked out beautifully for all of us — from the little kids to the grandparents, and even our goldendoodle, who may have had the best time of all, swimming in the lake and chasing rabbits in the backyard!
We brought our boat and spent most days out on the water: tubing, swimming, and lounging on the lilypad that comes with the rental. When we weren't on the lake, we made the most of the yard with games like cornhole and can jam — all thoughtfully provided by the hosts, along with beach towels, chairs, kayaks… you name it. They really thought of everything.
Evenings were spent grilling dinner, relaxing by the fire pit, and playing games as the sun went down. The setting was peaceful and perfect for unwinding.
The house itself is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and incredibly well-equipped. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, a well-stocked kitchen, and even a second fridge and pantry — a huge bonus for a big group. The kids especially loved the sleeping loft and the outdoor shower, which became a fun daily routine after lake time.
The location is super convenient — peaceful and tucked away, yet just five minutes from tons of stores, supermarkets, and restaurants. It's also close to both ocean and bayside beaches, which we had planned to visit, but ended up skipping because we were having so much fun on the lake!
We had such a fun, relaxing week and made so many great memories. We'd love to come back!"
