Tobey is a hidden gem!

This was our first visit to Tobey after many years of summers on the Upper Cape. It is a unique and lovely hidden gem with impeccable accommodations provided by the welcoming homeowners, Martha and Brian.
There was more than enough room for 4 adults and 2 grandchildren. Great kitchen and the deck was used constantly. We played lots of card and board games - and never touched the TV! Our Grandson may have been frustrated when navigating his new bike over the speed bumps, but we thought they added to the laid-back feeling of the island. We all loved bird watching, swimming, beach-combing and simply enjoying all Tobey and the area has to offer. It was a memorable stay for the whole family! Owner Response 9/3/2026 We hit the Jackpot this summer! In addition to our wonderful repeat guests, a new family arrived on the island and they were terrific! Warm, friendly and conscientious, Debbie and Drew, along with their entire family were everything one could hope for as guests. Already very familiar with the area after many years of vacationing on the Cape, this three generation family was ready to try something new. Upon arrival, they easily settled themselves onto the property and began to sample what the island has to offer. We are so pleased that they enjoyed the "close to nature" and relaxed atmosphere while finding plenty of activities to entertain themselves. We are thrilled that Debbie and Drew plan to return next summer!
