The Linda Loring Nature Foundation presents Nantucket Natural Senses.
How many naturally Nantucket items can you name using only one sense at a time?
We’ll use all of our senses (sight, touch, smell, sound, and maybe taste) to guess what bit of Nantucket
nature we have. Information about all of LLNF programming including our upcoming

Daffodil Presentation & Bulb Give-Away

Join Mary Malavase from the Nantucket Garden Club for a presentation on the proper planting and care of Daffodils.
?She informs us on the best varieties for Nantucket's climate.
?And she has information of entering your daffodils in the Flower Show Daffodil Weekend.
Mary WILL have free daffodil BULBS for fall planting !!!

Invasive Plants of Nantucket
1:00 - 3:30 pm SATURDAY COMMUNITY TENT

Nantucket's Invasive Plant and Biodiversity Committee will present their work
and discuss the identification and removal of invasive trees, shrubs, flowers, and vines
They will also provide information on non-invasive replacements.

ADULT & JUNIOR CLASS
Participants will be required to present & hold their entry while being judged.
Entrants judged on overall condition and quality of confirmation to breed standard.

Goat Handling Show 3:00 pm SHOW RING
ADULT & JUNIOR CLASS
Participants will be required to walk the goat in a figure eight, stop and stand.
Entrants judged on control and command of their goat.

Farm Yard Pet Show 3:30 pm SHOW RING
ADULT & JUNIOR CLASS
Open to all 4 legged farm ANIMALS
Entrants judged on condition and confirmation

Ray's Barnyard Contest
Animals in Ray's Barnyard for the weekend are automatically entered.
Judging on pen and cage set-up as well as overall condition of animal.
