About PLEIN AIR SANDWICH - ARTISTS TAKE TO THE STREETS...“ARTISTS AT WORK” ON THE STREETS OF SANDWICH
The first annual Plein Air Sandwich takes place from 10-2 on Friday, August 4th with artists from around the region setting up easels along the streets and byways of Sandwich to paint or draw their favorite scene. A silent auction with awards, food and drinks will be held from 5-7 at Horizon's the same day. The public is invited to stop and chat with the artists at work as well as join in the fun at the silent auction and reception, and bid on some really great art. To help people find and identify the artists, they'll be wearing turquoise t-shirts and a location map will be set up in front of at Palette Gallery (next door to Cafe Chew at Merchant's Square).
