About Mattakeese Wharf...Enjoy waterfront dining at its best. Located right on the water in Barnstable Harbor, the Mattakeese Wharf restaurant offers lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. House specialties include cioppino and lobsters, but we also feature many other seafood dishes, as well as pasta and meat. Children’s menu available. Located next to the whale watching boat. See the whales, then enjoy a great lunch or dinner at the Mattakeese. Open from May until the 3rd week of October. Reservations suggested.

Terrific dinner, excellent service!

We had a HUGE group--nine adults and seven children, and everyone had a delicious, happy time. The wait staff was very considerate of the children and very friendly and efficient. Pan-seared sole was unbelievable!! Sunset on Barnstable Harbor was beautiful, too. Highly recommend!!

This place is so awesome! Their appetizers are so delicious and the ambience is lovely. We had a seat by the window with a view and it was very restful. The food is excellent and the chowder was really good. I didn't know for a long time that this place existed, so glad we found it!

My family and I dropped by one evening and had a great time at the bar with seafood apps and cold beer. The service was a little slow but the food and the atmosphere more than made up for it.
