Salt Shaker Sportfishing

My family went out yesterday on the Salt Shaker. Captain Dan and Mate Nick were instantly welcoming and very friendly. The boat is in great condition, clean and comfortable with seating both under cover and in the open. There is also a bathroom on the boat that is also very clean. The captain told us right away that it didn't matter how long it took, we would get fish! He has a gps system to ensure that he finds fish--and find fish for us he did. After less than 2 hours we had caught our limit, but he kept us out past the 4 hour limit so we could continue catch and release. Among 4 of us, we caught at least 30 striped bass. Captain Dan has been taking people out on charters for 16 years, and he knows the water and how and where to navigate in order to ensure the very best experience. He had us use jigs for best fishing experience. It obviously worked very well. Nick was a great first mate. He made sure our lines were ready to go constantly and did a fabulous job cleaning and filleting the bass for us. We were so happy with our experience that we will definitely make sure to make another trip with them next year.
