About Bert Jackson Quartet...The BJQ, whose members are all year-round Cape Codders, is a Jazz band that plays an eclectic mix of jazz standards, a touch of blues, and original compositions. Known for their tight arrangements and upbeat sound, the BJQ brings an appropriate intensity to each venue, whether for an indoor cocktail reception or an outdoor showcase concert.
The Bert Jackson Quartet (BJQ) consists of Bert Jackson on guitar, Paul Lesniak on saxophones, Roe Osborn on bass and Kareem Sanjaghi on drums. The musical program will include jazz compositions by Bert and Roe from the BJQ’s new CD, Imaginary Journey, as well as some of the band’s favorite swing and Bossa standards. Always fun, always upbeat, the BJQ delivers great music with much joy and a bit of the unexpected.
