What a joy to be able to stay in this wonderful home for two weeks while we explored all over Martha's Vineyard. Nancy was wonderful to work with and made everything easy. We are walkers and from this location we had easy access to all of Vineyard Haven, West Chop, Minks Meadow (golf) and the west beaches. The transportation system is incredibly good and stops right near the house. It is an easy five to ten minute walk into downtown Vineyard Haven. The view from the porch is very good and sitting out there was wonderful - morning, noon and evening. We were able to grill and cook meals and sit out on the porch. The house itself is wonderful with big rooms and windows everywhere. As a computer person the wireless system was great and I was able to use my iPad all through the house. We came away after two weeks as relaxed as we could possibly be. And happy. Can't wait until I feel and smell those wonderful New England sea breezes again!!

This is just such an incredible house. It is fully decorated and stocked with everything one needs to cook, grill and just plain hang out. Beds are high end, comfortable and tastefully done. The house is full of windows and the views of the harbor are great. Light comes in everywhere showing off the hardwood floors and lovely rugs. Porch across the back of the house faced the harbor and was full of comfy furniture and a perfect place to grill, read and nap--rain or shine. This is the cleanest rental I have ever been in. The location is perfect. You can walk to town-grocery store, bus stop, shopping-in ten minutes. Bus stops nearby and the library is across the street and it is great. At the end of two weeks I could hardly make myself leave. It was quite, relaxing and just the perfect get away. Nancy is easy to work with and detail oriented so everything was ready for us. There is much to do and see on the vineyard. Don't miss out on this one!!

"We rented this house to celebrate our mom's 70th bday...and it didn't disappoint. We have rented other houses before but we were especially pleased with the level of attention to detail on this property. It was really tastefully decorated, which we really appreciated. We love to spend time cooking when we are away and there was every kind of appliance and utensil you would need. It's a spacious place with plenty of room for us to do our own things separately. The porch was expansive and we spent a lot of time out there lounging and eating. The beach (owen) was a perfect place to head when we didn't feel like driving to the other beaches. The house is located only a couple of blocks from town which made it really easy for my mom to stroll on her own. There were a lot of additional items, such as the outdoor shower, tons of linens, dishes for entertaining, candles, books, games, dvds, etc. Really thoughtful touches. These people want their guests to have a good time and return. Based on my request, I was very happy to have the owner offer some insider info on beaches and things to do...they were great tips! A wonderful trip...I thoroughly recommend this house. "

"RENT THIS HOUSE!!!!!!!we just got back from our first trip to martha's vineyard and stayed in this house , it was AMAZING!!! nancy the owner really thought of everything you would need to make this house a truly magical place to stay when you are away from home. beautiful dishes , bedding , decor... i cant say enough. it wasnt like she just stuck some furniture in a house so she could rent it they have vintage photos of martha's vineyard throughout the house. they had books on the history of marthas vineyard. there were games and puzzles. and if you love to cook this is the place. beautiful dishes, glasses, serving pieces. nancy gave us great tips on beautiful beaches; one is right at the end of the street. i could go on and on and not cover everything. but thanks to the fergusons this was one of the best vacations EVER!!!!!!!"

"You really want to rent this home! We just spent a great family vacation with our grown daughters and son-in-law at this house. The house is lovely and beautifully decorated and furnished. There was plenty of room for all of us to either spread out and do our own things or to gather together and have fun. The owners have really thought of everything for their visitors' comfort: great appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils, and a top-knotch grill. There is a nice outdoor shower for rinsing off after a trip to the beach, and the huge covered porch was terrific for reading or napping during the day or gathering together in the evening. We loved the location, an easy walk to town and the harbor, where we could catch a bus to other towns. We would really recommend chartering a sail boat with captain, taking in a play at the community theatre and, of course, visiting all of the lovely and different beaches of the island. Thanks also to Joe, the caretaker, for checking in on us and making sure everything was to our liking. We definitely recommend renting this home. We've rented vacation homes in many locations and this was by far the nicest."
