This is the spot for families with small children. The waters are very calm and it is close to town. There are plenty of amenities- Playground, picnic tables, bandstand, and grassy area. Parking is limited.

We visited Children's beach with our 5 year old - it's a favorite of ours and a perfect off-season beach to visit with the playground and park nearby, and conveniently located right in town.

It was a perfect place for my children to get adjusted to the water. Lots of great activities and things for the kids to do!
