Dowses, Cape Cod

Loved the sand and even if the place is packed there is always space. Loved the clean restrooms and the outdoor shower

This year we vacation in Centerville and frequented Dowses Beach. This beach was great because it had a large parking lot, lifeguards, scenery, fishing, rock ledge to climb out on and the white sand was so soft. I loved how the sea shells could be found everyway. This by far is my favorite beach on the cape. Can't wait to return next year!

Less crowded, cleaner washrooms and other activities possible such as fishing, catching crabs, kayaking

Plenty of waves and great facilities. We even bike from there around Osterville.

So perfect for families with small children! It's on the sound so there are no waves and the water is warm. Its all families and the kids can just run to the waters edge and play together

Beautiful views of ocean and East Bay. Adequate parking.

Fantastic beach. Able to enjoy the waves on a sunny afternoon. Used the pass to park and then bike ride around Osterville.

Just minutes away [from Vacation Rental ID 24454] and way less crowded than any other beach we've ever seen on the Cape.

Great beach for shells & pictures, ok for swimming too.

The neighborhood is fantastic. The nature,the pond,services....and the place is quiet and very clean also. Water was pretty warm.

I have visiting this beach since I was a little girl - has always been my favorite! Although you can walk to Craigville beach we used the guest pass to visit Dowses - a little more secluded with less seaweed.

Beautiful Beach! Never crowded!!!
