Cleanest water I’ve seen, restrooms clean, easy access for handicap. Also Further down road 2 min. is Cliff pond that was really my favorite , kids were in heaven !

There is no shortage of lovely beaches but a lovely surprise for me was Flax pond in Nickerson State Park. The clear freshwater is fabulous to swim in and there are sailboats boats and paddle boards for rent. You can rent bikes in Orleans and cycle along the bike path to get there - a great day out.

Other than Sheep Pond, which is in walking distance to the house [Property ID 11894], Nickerson State Park offers another clean pond (Flax Pond) where you can rent Stand-Up Paddleboards and Sunfish Sailboats from Jack's Boat Rentals in Brewster.

Not too busy; good facilities; easy to reach; clean; some shade; easy parking and very accessible even for a brief visit.
