Jetties Beach, Nantucket

We visited 5 beaches this trip but our best Beach Day is always any day we spend on Jetties! Tough to beat the family beach vibe from the moment you step on the boardwalk to the shore. Hilighted of course with our annual Buck-a-Shuck stop at the Sandbar!! Absolute heaven, already planning next year's trip!!!

Restaurant on the beach was well priced and a nice selection for lunch.

This beach has it all - gorgeous harbor views to watch all the ferries and yachts, very family and pet friendly, a restaurant, rest rooms, and a little store that sells any beach items you may have forgotten. All the Nantucket beaches are beautiful… but Jetties is my personal favorite.

The Jetties Beach is fun to visit when you have kids. At Children’s Beach this year, we saw Sea Robins swimming for the first time. They were exquisitely beautiful!! But there are beautiful beaches all around the island and you can often spot seals happily swimming!

There is a large sandbar that makes playing in the water safer for young children.
It also has a restaurant and small store!

Great for kids to play in the water without big waves, beautiful view of the jetties, surf shop and restaurant as well.

We traveled with young children and the sandbar @ Jetties Beach was ideal.

Family friendly, plenty of parking, easy to walk to from town, great food!

Perfect beach - large parking lot; easy access (no stairs/hills); warm, calm water; not too crowded. Lots of amenities: casual beach restaurant, changing rooms, kayak & other water sport rentals. Great beach for families with small kids.
