Heavy Surf - Not recommended for swimming. Miacomet is great for those who like calm waters and those who prefer waves. Miacomet Pond provides the calm waters and just over the dunes is the ocean with its big waves to jump around in or boogie board. There is a lifeguard present at the beach but not the pond. Parking is available.
