About Marshland Too...The original Marshland on Route 6A has been a landmark in town for over 50 years. The Marshland and Marshland Too (315 Cotuit Rd.) are a pair of family-owned restaurants operating in Sandwich under their current owners since 2000. When you think of the Marshland, you think of homecooked, "comfort" foods at very reasonable prices always. The Marshland also does catering for holidays and special events. The Marshland Bakery serves up the best fresh-baked goods such as muffins, cakes, pies and cookies to be found anywhere, again at low prices!

I put this in the class of a great American diner!!! The food is well prepared and plentiful and the daily specials are terrific. The prime rib is done to perfection and the roast turkey is just that, not slices off a processed breast. New England clam chowder is a main stay as is their stuffed clam. There's also a bakery attached that make super muffins.

We return now annually with memories of our first visits at Marshland being over 30 years ago, going there after sunrise at East Sandwich Downs beach. Now as vacation home owners, my daughter and I still order the Authentic French Toast with Warm Fruit and Raspberry Butter. Decadent, delicious! The menu is varied and complete, but I'll have to go by appearance of satisfaction on the faces of others because I have to have our favorite. Also chose Marshland for my birthday dinner during our December visit. The food is delectable and worth every penny of the modest price. Definitely on our "recommended" list for our renters.
