A fantastic home for our big family

We just finished vacationing on the Cape
and this particular home was cozy and relaxing and it accommodated all our family needs. The owner went above and beyond and was always there to answer any question and make suggestions as to sights worth visiting.
The swimming pool was a hit with the grandkids and the private beach a hit with their mothers.A must to visit and stay. In when looking for comfort on the cape.

    Excellent family stay

Julie could not have been a kinder or more accommodating host. The house and pool were amazing. The kids and adults loved the layout and the pool and Julie was incredibly helpful in some many ways.
    Highly recommend.

    great home and host

when we arrived at the home there were flowers, wine, beer and local cheese and crackers. Julie the home owner was wonderful and very responsive to us both before we arrived and once there. The house was very well equipped from the kitchen to the pool and picnic and beach things. She had great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. The house was perfect for our multigenerational family get away. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Hello my name is Julie and I am originally from a small town called ''Whitman'' in Massachusetts. Every time someone asks me where I am from they look at me and say ''WHERE'', ''WHAT'S IT CALLED'' or ''I'VE NEVER HEARD OF IT!'' My response is ''have you heard of the Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie? Toll House Cookies were invented by Ruth Wakefield at the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. These cookies became so popular locally that she contacted the Nestle' Company, and with this, the Toll House Restaurant and the Town of Whitman were on the map.''
I moved to Barnstable Village, Massachusetts over 30 years ago to a beautiful neighborhood with many wonderful neighbors I call family. They have watched my 3 boys grow up into amazing men. I also have a wonderful boyfriend of many years which together we have 6 boys Some people laugh and say you're like the ''The Brady Bunch'' (except no girls). Each of our boys have beautiful sweet girlfriends, (we have 3 upcoming weddings and one grand baby expected this Summer. We are more than thrilled to have such an amazing family between each-other.

I travel to Boston a few days a week for work and other days I work from home. I enjoy the City Life but also love coming over the bridge home to beautiful Cape Cod.

I'm always available to answer any questions and have many contacts to make your visit the most memorable place for your vacation spot. (photographers, catering, charcuterie board orders and picnic spots).

What is special about this property?
This house is located in a quiet, safe residential neighborhood with your own private pool and many areas for entertaining whether it is a cook-out, clambake, fine dining or picnic set-up. I have had many past guests' book for a family reunion, one engagement celebration, a 60th birthday celebration, golf tournament, girls-getaway and a scrapbooking weekend.

Lower walk-out basement is a great set-up for your nanny to have her own separate quarters or a hangout for teenagers or a children's play area.

What is special about your town?
''Barnstable is the name of one of the seven villages within the Town of Barnstable, Massachusetts. The Village of Barnstable is located on the north side of the town, centered along ''Old King's Highway'' (Massachusetts Route 6A), and houses the County Complex of Barnstable County, a small business district, a working harbor, and several small beaches.'' The village is home to many small attractions and walking distance from the house. There is many breakfast, lunch and dinner establishments. The Barnstable Village store you will find most everything from pizza, sandwiches, prepared food, meat market, beer, wine and a candy corner. There is also ghost tours next to the Coast Guard Museum, Whale Watch cruises close-by. Barnstable Harbor is a great spot to take a family photo, enjoy the sunset and a short distance to Sandy Neck by boat. It is a beautiful Marina where the Whale Watch boat leaves from and has two great restaurants along the Marina. ''The Mattakeese Wharf'' and a fish market called ''Osterville Too'' which has fresh local seafood to take home or sit outside on the picnic tables.
