Oceanview 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with breathtaking views from Barnstable Harbor to Sandy Neck. This extremely clean house is located only barefoot steps to the ocean shore. Take a leisurely walk to Barnstable Village to dine or shop at the many restaurants, antique shops, comedy club (theater), penny candy store, ice cream shop, Day Spa, and library (oldest in country). Take a walk or trolley ride to Mill Way Beach/Barnstable Harbor, go deep-sea fishing, whale watching, dining on the harbor, or absorb the views. The house is located in a very desirable, sought-after area at the end (where the ocean meets land) of a beautiful road and in a VERY QUIET, multi-million dollar neighborhood. The house is located only minutes drive/trolley to downtown Hyannis shops, restaurants, Barnstable Airport, golf, mall, Melody Tent, Kennedy Museum, and ferries. Relax, enjoy a BBQ, take a hot outdoor shower, and enjoy the sea breezes.
Location, Location, Location! Compare our beach house to others in the area that charge between $5,000-$6000 per week! You get the same view and amenities!
Don't Pack Anything! We've provided everything for you so you don't have to pack it. We provided big fluffy beach towels, high-quality linens and bath towels, beach chairs, and beach toys. We've provided all the information for bike rentals, kayak rentals, and what to do in the area.
Adventure-Seekers
Bring your bikes and ride around the picturesque streets with ocean views or take advantage of the local bike paths! You can keep them safe in our bike shed. Perhaps even try something new like ocean kayaking where we can schedule a 1 or 2 person (or more) kayak at the beach house for the week, complete with lifevests, instruction, and delivery/pick-up. The immediate area is written in many guidebooks as an oasis for ocean kayaking! A ''must-do'' is the large high-speed jet propelled whale watch yacht docked at Barnstable Harbor. The whales are amazing and always there!
Children:
This house is great for children! The yard is perfect for children to keep themselves busy and is set back from the (very) quiet road. It's a perfect place for children to learn to ride a bike or just to bicycle back-and-forth.
Carless:
If you want to go on vacation and never touch your car during your stay, this is the spot for you. Between the walking distance nearby restaurants, general store, beaches, whale watching, antiquing, and trolley -- you'll never have to get in to your car until it's time to go home! Which, of course, you won't want to do when you see the view we have for you!
Foodies:
Come have a busy day swimming, clamming, fishing, whale watching, biking, shopping, etc. and then end the day with a walk to one of our nearby restaurants. That's right, you can WALK to these restaurants! You can dine at the Barnstable Tuscan Kitchen, The Dolphin Restaurant, or Mattakeese Wharf Restaurant, and leisurely walk on home via moonlight on the water. Barnstable market in the village has ice cream, pizza, a deli, groceries, wine/beer and everything you need from a well-stocked market.
Fish and catch your stripers for dinner!
Cast your line in front of the house and catch some Stripers for dinner! You'll have company early morning and evening as fishermen-in-the-know often stand at the shore and/or float on by in boats to catch the fish.
Come stay and have a great time! read more show less
