We are Adrienne and Shane, lifelong Cape Cod residents who still live on the Lower Cape with our two children. We purchased this home in 2018 and immediately began renovating and improving it, inside and out. Each winter we take on new projects ourselves, from yard and landscape upgrades to dock improvements and interior renovations. In 2025, we completed the final phase of the downstairs renovation, making the home fully updated throughout.
We truly love this house and have worked hard to make it beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean for both our family and our guests. When the home is not rented, we enjoy it as our own escape. Some of our favorite moments are off season evenings by the fire pit, fishing from the kayaks, grilling on the deck with pond views, and winding down inside by the fireplace with a movie.
We love the Cape, the ocean, the sunsets, and the beach lifestyle, and we are genuinely happy to share that experience with our guests. Our goal has always been to create a comfortable, welcoming space that feels like a true home away from home.
What is special about this property?
What makes this property special is the rare combination of a peaceful private waterfront setting and a home that feels truly fresh, modern, and cared for. You have exclusive backyard access to clear water Garretts Pond with your own dock, plus kayaks and a dinghy ready for morning paddles, swimming, and sunset cruises. The wraparound deck overlooks the water, giving you front row pond views for coffee, grilling, and relaxed outdoor dining. After a beach day, rinse off in the outdoor shower, then gather around the fire pit under the stars.
Inside, everything is updated, comfortable, and spotless. The home renovations began in 2018 and we finished the downstairs and last of things in 2025, everything from flooring to windows to all appliances have been replaced. The property has been an established rental since 2018 and guests consistently comment on how clean it is, how welcoming it feels, and the thoughtful details throughout the home. The layout is spacious and easy for couples or families, with two bedrooms upstairs, open floor plan with living, kitchen and dining area and a full bath, and the finished walkout lower level adds another bedroom, an additional living room, desk area, laundry, and a second full bath. Central A/C, quality finishes, and reliable features like the automatic generator make the stay effortless. Best of all, the location is private and quiet, yet central for exploring beaches, trails, villages, and harbor adventures across Cape Cod.
