Located on Pocasset Harbor this little gem of a beach is great for small children as they can enjoy the calm waters and the abundance of boats traveling in and out of the harbor.

Electric Avenue

Where: Electric Avenue, Bourne

Good for: Swimming, Fishing

This small beach is a fairly quiet despite being very close to downtown Bourne. There is a small picnic spot as well as a playground.

Gray Gables

Gray Gables beach has lovely views of Onset Bay. The sand is soft and white and water is calm making it a nice spot for children. Bring a basketball as there is a small basketball court with net.

Hen Cove

Hen Cove is a great beach to take the children. It provides calm waters as well as a roped off swimming area. An expansive beach, there is plenty of room for sandcastle building.

A family friendly place, Picture Lake has soft sand and plenty of shade. Generally, it does not get to crowded and provides a nice place to swim, fish or relax. Get there early as parking is limited.

Queen Sewell

Queen Sewell is a calm place to take the kids for a swim. There is a small sandy beach as well as picnic area and boat launch. Bring your fishing gear as there are plenty if spots to drop a line.
