What a treat it was to spend a few nights at this cottage in Mashnee Village. It was clean, cozy and beautifully decorated with everything I needed in the kitchen. It was the off-season so it was quiet, but the owner gave me excellent advice on where to pick up provisions and have dinner which was so helpful since I have not visited the area previously. I love the beach in the fall/winter and took long walks around the "island". Highly recommend this property.

My friends and I are all in our 70's and this home was perfect. It had everything and more then we could ever need.
The inside and outside were wonderful.
Our hostess was most gracious and accommodating.
Even though it's location is off the beaten path, we enjoyed the stay immensely!

We had a fantastic family get together at this stunning property. Great location, spotless, well appointed and clearly a family home that is used to family gatherings and making memories.
Plenty of space to all get together and space for quiet time.
Close to good local amenities and friendly neighbours .
We will hopefully organise another visit in the future

What a beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable home!
It's hard to know which aspect to highlight: Stunning water views, easy walks to quiet beaches, an updated and thoughtfully outfitted home, a great room that allows for multiple activities, the two decks, the natural light suffusing every room, the friendly neighbors in the close-knit community, the short drive from the Cape bridges. The owner was responsive to my queries both before and during our vacation. Falmouth and Sandwich are not far. show more show less

Hi, this is my second stay at this beautiful home! We were here last summer for a family vacation, and are so happy to be back again this summer! The house is spotless , and spacious.with amazing views. Enjoyed morning coffee overlooking the water and sunset cocktails. So relaxing, we loved morning walks on the causeway, and relaxing at the beach! This is our favorite place for summer stays. This will be an annual stay for us! This home was extremely clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our family. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck and private beach. The sunrise and views of the water are stunning from both the main level and upstairs. There are fantastic restaurant options within a few miles of the home, and it's just a short drive to Mashpee Commons as well as Hyannis (where we boarded the ferry to our day on Nantucket). Dana was extremely accommodating and provided fantastic recommendations that made our trip a lovely, memorable experience. She even had a sweet gift basket waiting for us upon our arrival. We really enjoyed our stay at the property on Mashnee Island. We rented the place for a family reunion for a long weekend, and it comfortably fit 7 people without feeling crowded. The home was clean, spacious and well kept, with nice natural light and views of the ocean in most rooms. The deck was great for a morning coffee and the outdoor shower felt like a luxury! The best part was being so close to the beach - it was just a one minute walk down from the backyard deck to our private beach, and other beaches on the island were easy to walk to. The house provided all the things we needed to enjoy our stay - stocked kitchen for cooking, washer/dryer for laundry, chairs for the beach, a cooler, etc. We loved staying in this beautiful house on this little island and would definitely return! show more show less
