Enjoy our quiet hideaway in the perfect central Cape Cod location! Your vacation starts right when you walk into our bright and airy 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom ranch with Central Air Conditioning. The picturesque completely fenced-in back yard is the perfect place to spend a morning with a cup of coffee and a good book, enjoy a memorable al fresco meal, or relax around the fire pit at night. This single floor home with a large finished basement is ideal for families with small children.
The bed breakdown allows for privacy and space: 1 King, 1 Full, and 3 twins on the ground floor, and a twin daybed that can become a King in the basement.

While you do not need to look beyond the back yard to find your bliss, the Cape's most sought after beaches are a short drive away. The rental includes a car pass to all Barnstable town Beaches.

Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen has a gas range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and basic pantry items. The kitchen flows into a dining area with seating for six with French doors facing the outdoor dining area.

Living Areas: There is a sunny living room with a TV and a wood stove as well as a bright sitting room with a working fireplace.

Bedrooms: The master bedroom has a king sized bed and private bathroom. The other two rooms have a full bed, and both a twin bed and a daybed with a trundle.

Basement: In the finished basement, there is another family room with a TV, pool table, and board games. As well as a daybed that converts to a king size bed for extra sleeping space and a half bathroom.

Outdoor Space: You will love the fabulous back yard with an awning-covered deck, a table with seating for six, and a fire pit.
Parking: 5 cars can park in the driveway.

Location: Our house is just a few minutes’ drive (or bike) to popular beaches such as the warm water south side beaches, Craigsville & Dowses, and a 20 minute drive to the 6-mile long Sandy Neck Beach on the north side. Centerville offers the perfect central location to explore the entire Cape. We are a short drive to the historic Four Seas Ice Cream and 1856 General store. Enjoy biking, freshwater lakes, whale watching, restaurants, shopping and various other activities. For day trips to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard the ferries are only 10 minutes away in Hyannis.     Great home

    This is home is impeccable. It was so clean and spacious. The kids loved the pool table and we all enjoyed playing games in the beautiful large backyard. Home is in a great & quiet neighborhood very close to all the beaches.

    This house was perfect for our little getaway. All the rooms were tastefully decorated, having a lot of space for entertaining. There was a very nice playroom in the basement, so the kids had their own space to hang out. The back yard was beautifully landscaped and had a few different seating areas, which made it very nice. I would highly recommend this property.

    Perfect for a family vacation

    This home was perfect for my family. The house layout was great, the finished basement was perfect for kids. The yard was the best!!!! Quick drive to the beach. Can't wait to go back!

    Gorgeous Cape house!

    We had ourselves the most prefect week in this GORGEOUSLY decorated car house! There are plenty of comfy places for you to relax on this property; two sitting rooms so the whole family can spread out....the bedrooms were so comfortable, we all slept so soundly during our stay. The kitchen has everything you need...including a gas stove, so a huge bonus for all the cooks out there! Huge dine-in kitchen table that will fit lots of people comfortably. Now to the backyard...the landscaping is beautiful...I found myself just wandering around looking at all of the plants and flowers. Big outdoor dining table next to a Weber grill. Another seating area with comfy couches..the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. And then for the best part, a fire pit to enjoy the perfect summer nights down the Cape that you never want to end. Close to all shopping and lots of beaches. Quick drive from Boston. This place is above and beyond your ordinary Cape cottage...Enjoy your stay as much as we did! show more show less

    My husband and I are life long Massachusetts residents and vacationers on the Cape. This is our first year as vacation rental owners. We are so excited to share our home and will do everything we can to make your stay comfortable and worry free. I am a mother of three and lover of great food and can provide recommendations for a rainy day with kids or a memorable meal off the beaten track.

    What is special about this property?
    We fell in love with this house before we ever walked inside. The backyard alone transports you away from the bustle of the everyday world, that is why we call the house The Hideaway. The inside is comfortable, bright, and relaxing. I worked hard to make the house feel like a home and want to ensure that everyone who stays there feels like family.

    What is special about your town?
    Centerville is aptly named; it really is in the center of it all, and the perfect location whether you want to stay local and have your pick of one of Barnstable's many beaches, or venture out for a day trip to P town, the Vineyard, or Nantucket.
